Wheeler gave me every opportunity to stop if it got to be too much but I was determined to see it through.

I was wobbly and limping along, and couldn't walk, sit, drive or sleep without constant daily back pain. My PCP referred me to IRG. At my first session, I couldn't lift my gluteus maximus (butt) off the therapy table, had to roll on my side, do hand pushes to sit up on the table, and had to use handrails to go up steps--I was in awful shape. But, my PT was Jensine L. (awesome therapist), she got me working out those dormant butt and thigh muscles. I did my exercises daily: Squats, crab walks, treadmill, bicycle and yes those famous T-squeezes (private joke). My gluteus maximus are on FIRE!! I was just discharged from PT after 6 weeks of therapy and has absolutely improved. I'm better than I was before the injury and feeling great because my BACK PAIN is gone. Keep up the good work Jensine and IRG!!!

If someone there could return any of my phone calls I'd appreciate it!!…read more I went here three times for hip pain while running after giving birth. I didn't really feel like it was in any way beneficial, so I cancel my appointments and stopped going. Bills started coming in. With my decent insurance it was still $90 a visit!! Robbery... Their system isn't smart enough to consolidate, and somehow even though I only went 3 times I got 5 bills in 2 weeks. I thought I paid them all, but a few months later I got more. Paid those... Got yet another bill last week!! Also, they charge a "open account" fee of $11 every month. I have no clue how they feel they have expense enough literally to just have an account there to charge $11 a month but I've been hit with it 3 times now. I have called at least 3 times to try and sort this out. I just want to close my account and not get any more bills, how hard is this?!

I had a fractured finger, which after a month, the bone was still showing a crack on the x-ray, and…read moreI was already losing range of motion, with pain and swelling. My orthopedic provider told me I should start hand therapy (physical therapy) right away to avoid long-term problems. They gave me a generic referral write up and suggested a couple of providers near my home. That's when the real challenge began. I called those two providers and provider after provider from my insurance's in-network list, but most didn't answer, didn't call back, didn't take my insurance (even though my insurance said they would), or couldn't see me for weeks. I felt stuck and frustrated until I called ATI. The customer service rep on the phone quickly checked my insurance and offered me an evaluation appointment the same day or just a few days later, with a physical therapist experienced in hand injuries. The therapy sessions at ATI made a huge difference. The staff was friendly and supportive. They guided me through exercises, gave me printouts, and even provided an app with videos and daily tracking, which helped me stay on track at home. Four weeks later, my orthopedic doctor said I had fully recovered and lifted all restrictions. I still have some numbness and tingling, but I understand that's normal for my injury and may take many months to get back closer to what it used to feel. When I called ATI after the final orthopedics assessment to share the assessment and cancel my last physical therapy appointment; they handled it right away with no fee even thou the appointment was a few hours later. I'm truly grateful for their help. If you're in a similar situation and frustrated with finding a good physical therapist/hand therapy that is available and takes your insurance, I highly recommend calling ATI. They made a stressful time much easier for me.

He does not speak English, and the staff did not make any effort to accommodate his language needs. We called and communicated many times that we needed an in person translator but they chose to ignore us. Every time we visited they acted clueless. I ended up having to tell them that my dad needs a translator EVERYTIME. Communication was very difficult for him, and he left feeling confused and unsupported. It very disappointing because we pay so much and we aren't treated the same. I hope the clinic can improve their approach to patients who need translation or additional assistance, as everyone deserves clear communication and respectful care.
