IRG -Murphy's Corner-staff Is the best! Recently, I injured my back, the damages; L4-5 herniated disc and compression fractures. I was wobbly and limping along, and couldn't walk, sit, drive or sleep without constant daily back pain. My PCP referred me to IRG. At my first session, I couldn't lift my gluteus maximus (butt) off the therapy table, had to roll on my side, do hand pushes to sit up on the table, and had to use handrails to go up steps--I was in awful shape. But, my PT was Jensine L. (awesome therapist), she got me working out those dormant butt and thigh muscles. I did my exercises daily: Squats, crab walks, treadmill, bicycle and yes those famous T-squeezes (private joke). My gluteus maximus are on FIRE!! I was just discharged from PT after 6 weeks of therapy and has absolutely improved. I'm better than I was before the injury and feeling great because my BACK PAIN is gone. If someone there could return any of my phone calls I'd appreciate it!! I went here three times for hip pain while running after giving birth. I didn't really feel like it was in any way beneficial, so I cancel my appointments and stopped going. Bills started coming in. With my decent insurance it was still $90 a visit!! Robbery... Their system isn't smart enough to consolidate, and somehow even though I only went 3 times I got 5 bills in 2 weeks. I thought I paid them all, but a few months later I got more. Paid those... Got yet another bill last week!! Also, they charge a "open account" fee of $11 every month. I have no clue how they feel they have expense enough literally to just have an account there to charge $11 a month but I've been hit with it 3 times now. I have called at least 3 times to try and sort this out. I just want to close my account and not get any more bills, how hard is this?! read more

Well, I'll be the first to admit that I was a skeptic when it came to whether or not I'd benefit from physical therapy. Being a registered nurse myself, I'm used to seeing a lot of docs jump straight to throwing pain pills and muscle relaxers at their patients, but luckily, mine was not that way. He referred me to Murphy's Corner Physical Therapy for evaluation of an ongoing neck issue. I was paired up with Danielle, and have seen her once or twice a week for several weeks now. After no more than three weeks of therapy, I was surprised to find the pain in my neck and the tingling down my arm and hand had almost completely resolved. Danielle and her team, who I must say are all very competent and friendly, gave me exercises to do there, and also ones that I could do at home. I know that physical therapy has helped me, because when I skipped a week due to a scheduling mistake of my own fault, I felt it. However, testimony to how much they really care at Murphy's, I even got an email that was just to check up on me and make sure that I was ok. The atmosphere there is fun, relaxed, professional without being too "clinic-y". I've had no problems with my insurance covering my visits, or any other problems in general. I will happily recommend this location to anyone else in need of PT. read more

Have been going to this place for several weeks and have to say it has been a great experience, considering I have to go for pain. I've been working with Becky and she is a confident therapist whom I trust and feel she knows what's best for me. The rest of the staff is friendly, knowledgable, and work in sync with each other to create an atmosphere that is organized and comfortable. I've been to my fair share of physical therapy places, but this is by far my favorite. Everyone that works here is super friendly. They make the exercises as fun as possible. I had to wait for my insurance to approve more appointments. I found myself actually missing everyone there. Give them a chance, you won't be disappointed! read more

These people are absolutely awful I was going there for two months for a whiplash injury and had previously missed one of my appointments which was waved due to no text message appointment reminder (their bad) and had been going twice a week for 2 months, a lot to heal I know. I was almost fully healed when I received a bill for 50$ for not a no show fee. I had called the receptionist for that and had previous to my appointment let her know that there was a medical family emergency and that my mother was being rushed to the hospital for a stroke and I was going to be absolutely unable to make it due to this. Well about 4 days go by and I receive a bill for 50$. I was absolutely shocked and unable to pay this fee and embarrassed to call and talk with a supervisor I just decided not to go back. They actually had the nerve to call me again the following week and tell me that another 50$ fee was being administered and that all my future appointments were being canceled. This place is not the place to go to get well and heal this is the place to go to get robbed for your money while there also milking your claim and don't care at all about emergency's. Emergencies like the one that made you come to them yourself. I am now basically back to square one and have been forced to basically just deal with it since I can't go back for treatment. You know. When you miss a doctors appointment they don't fine you hundreds of dollars. I don't think any medical practice should and I think a practice should revolve around the Hippocratic oath not around a minuscule 50$. read more

I've been coming to this location since March of 2015 after tearing my acl and meniscus and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. All of the employees go out of their way to make the atmosphere as friendly as possible and make you feel comfortable as you rehab. I have full faith in the rehabilitation techniques and workouts they put you thru at MCPT and am both sad and excited to almost be done with physical therapy after coming here so long. The receptionists Jessi and Monica are great too and are always as accommodating as possible when it comes to scheduling appointments. I showed up for PT after having an MRI for my shoulder. My doc told me to go to PT, the ortho doc told me to go to PT. And my doc told me again - so I finally went. I couldn't lift my arm much past shoulder height when I arrived, let alone reach behind my back. My initial eval was very thorough and within minutes Danielle, my PT said "I think I know what's going on." And she was correct. We started with exercises and strengthening and after 3 mos, I graduated, full able to lift my shoulder again! The entire team was great. Every time I arrived the front desk staff greeted me by name. All of the exercise techs knew me and we always went through the exercises with smiles and laughter. The team there are true pros. They explain things thoroughly, they help you get better and you have fun while doing so. We fixed my initial issue and then found another. I appreciated that Danielle told me "I can't fix this, but we can strengthen it." We then spoke about next steps and when I graduated from PT, I left knowing what my options were, including coming back for a check up if the shoulder flared up. I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend them. read more

I had shoulder surgery in April 2016, and scheduled rehab therapy with one of the IRG clinics near Mill Creek. The entire staff at Murphys Corner Therapy knows you are in pain, so their main goal is to make you as comfortable as possible with the rehab process. The first person who sees you, smiles, and says "Hi, how are you today?" The front desk ladies do a great job with appointments, billing, and Physician reports. Then you are assigned a competent therapist to be your mentor, facilitator, coach, and eventually friend. You may even see some prominent athletes there. All the therapists become interested in your comfort, wellness, and specific rehab needs. They make home exercises easy to accomplish , with complete instructions and the same equipment as used in their facility. And when they perform massage therapy, Tawnie calls it "getting a little IRG love". There's heat or ice therapy at the end of your session if you choose. You can interact as much as you want with patients with similar injuries. War stories are tolerated. Every therapist uses all the intensive training they've received to make your specific rehabilitation their number one priority. I've had such pleasant success, I asked my surgeons office to recommend Murphys Corner for any rehab patients. read more

Not only was I disappointed, I left concerned about this teams ability to medically treat even the basics. My visits were due to a knee scope I'd had a few months prior (very standard procedure). I chose this place based on location in regards to my commute and of course 2 very positive yelp reviews. My initial evaluation was with Angela. I felt that while she was listening, she was rushing to conclusions without really asking enough questions about my condition. She told me not to do movements that make my knee snap, exactly the opposite of the advise of my surgeon. When I asked, she said she had leaned that in class, then she proceeded to give me exercises to do that made my knee snap. She then sat me down to do a stretching exercise that she "just learned in class." The stretch had me bouncing, contrary to anything I'd ever learned. Over the course of my next few visits 3 of her co-workers told me I was doing it wrong as I was bouncing. I pointed them all to her, she told them it was right and they left it alone. That made me both feel like the guanine pig, and it let me know the communication in there is not great. But don't get me wrong, there was plenty of communication. Over each of my follow up appointments past my initial visit, each of the "trainers" as I'll call them, (as I never figured what they were really there for...they never introduced themselves to me, watched my posture/stood with me while I did the exercises) well they sure loved to tell stories about how cool their high school teams/programs were amongst each other and the younger school age patrons. I am not looking forward to paying this bill. Steven & the nice front desk employees, those are the two bright spots in this company that I could see. Steven listened, showed a desire to help you improve, and worked hard at beating down my scar tissue. I would have not made this post had I have been called back when I relayed these concerns to the front desk. With no additional communication, I cannot imagine that this place will improve their standards, therefore it needs to be shared. read more
