Have taken my kids here a few times over the last few years due to sports injuries, mt bike…read moreinjuries etc. The doctors there are great and I would recommend this facility if you are a local. The main reason I suggest being a local is because if you need to get ahold of anyone in the office, you'll need to just go there in person. I wouldn't suggest calling unless you have some sort of fetish of sitting on hold for eternity. Once you get there they are very helpful....... Now that you have your appointment and your ready to get seen next month, you are on your way to feeling great again. NOW... don't think for one second that you got to bypass the on hold thing just because you live in town. Once you get to your appointment next month and you have a seat in this very spacious waiting room, take a look around. You will notice there will be 1 maybe 2 people ahead of you, at this moment you think to yourself ( this will be quick) lol. This is the point where you will get to wait somewhere between 1-1 1/2 hours till someone brings you to the examination room, but don't worry the fun doesn't stop there. Once in the room you will get to wait at least another 30 to 45min. If you need to get some shopping done or feel like going to a nice sit down restaurant while you wait, just run up stairs check in and go do your thing, you will have plenty of time

My fiancee is stationed at JBLM and needs to continue his PT. He called this place after finding this place through his insurance he gave them a call and interrogated them, which is his standard procedure. His first impression? The receptionist picked up and sounded confident, a plus in his books. Well the result of that call is that he became a patient! He has been here about 6 times. He comes in, signs in and doesn't even get a chance to sit down as they already call him in! The only person who is ever in the waiting room for more than 2 minutes is me! I've seen multiple different patients come in and they are all treated the same. The ladies are kind and courtesy and have a bond with each patient. They are even kind to me, offering me coffee on some days. And they spend about 1.5 hours with my fiancee, who is recovering from a rotator cuff surgery. They give him a heated massage in the beginning and towards the end make him do exercises in their exercise room, which has a couple of flat beds, weights, a lat pull down machine, stair stepper, treadmill and other equipment. They take therapy seriously! Parking is a breeze, restrooms don't need keys, scheduling is simple. I and he have no conplaints about this place. They even have a fresh newspaper and ample magazines! I truly hope more people come to this office. Be on the lookout for his review!

I have went through two extended injury rehabs and currently about half way through the third, rotator cuff surgery, with these wonderful people. I have spent a lot of time with, and gotten to know, all of the three PTs and the support staff. Every one of them actually care about my success and treat me like was the most important patient they have. Truth be told, I'm just another burned out 76 year old has been athlete who used up his body in his youth. I have no regrets, and I seriously recommend you consider these professionals for your needs! Cameron, Maria, and Brittany REALLY know their stuff. Each one has been a blessing for me.

This rehab hospital gave me a safe, calm, and genuinely caring environment to heal physically, emotionally, and mentally as I adjusted to changes in my function and prepared to return home. What stands out most is the people. Every person I interacted with, from front desk staff to nurses, CNAs, therapists, doctors, and case managers, treated me with empathy, patience, and respect. I never once felt rushed or dismissed. I felt cared for at every level. My occupational therapist, Beverly, was phenomenal. She brought incredible energy to each session, explained what was happening with my body, and used a wide range of tools and exercises to help me regain function. More importantly, she made it feel safe to try, adjust, and try again. Hiro was my main physical therapist, along with others including Alicia, Stephanie, and Annie. Hiro has an exceptional way of helping you feel relaxed and supported, even when the work is challenging. Physical therapy sessions felt encouraging rather than intimidating, and I gained real confidence in my balance and walking because of his approach. Dr. Wang and Corrine managed my medical care, and I always felt listened to and supported. My speech therapist, Abby, was also outstanding. Her work focused on real life transitions and helped me think through what life would look like after discharge. It felt like return to life therapy, not just speech therapy. My case manager, Lindsay, made the discharge process smooth and stress free. She coordinated appointments, handled details, and ensured everything was in place so I did not have to worry about what came next. The nurses and CNAs were exceptional. Names I remember include Bridget, Shane, Kristen, JoJo, Sarah, Courtney, Daryl, Anne, Rachel, Albert, and Ebony, along with many others who showed the same level of care. Their support was personal, attentive, and deeply human, which made a meaningful difference during a vulnerable time. The facility itself is excellent. I had a private room that supported my healing and gave me space to practice independence. The rehab gyms are outstanding and well equipped. The food also deserves recognition. It was genuinely good, and nutrition is clearly treated as part of the recovery process. I also want to thank Julee at the main desk, who was consistently kind and welcoming during my early mornings and helped me ease into each day. This hospital gave me the space to rest, recover, and rebuild. If I ever need inpatient rehabilitation again, this is absolutely where I would want to be. I am deeply thankful to everyone at Virginia Mason-Franciscan Rehabilitation Hospital for their care, compassion, and support.

I highly recommend Dr. Matt! After seeing multiple doctors and being told that I had to live with…read moreserious, debilitating chronic pain for the rest of my life, a friend recommended Dr. Matt. Dr. Matt (who has been practicing for 25 years) is a Palmer Chiropractic graduate. Palmer is located in Iowa and is known for producing high quality practitioners. Dr. Matt uses both table and physical adjustments. Because my entire body was injured in an assault from drunk teens at a Walgreens, he treats my entire body (not just the part that is hurting). Speed a few years ahead and I am nearly 100% healed (I had a couple of trip and falls after my first visit). Now whenever I have any issues, I see Dr. Matt first before I try anything else. Dr. Matt also sees my entire family. He has an affordable family care package for a family like ours. We have insurance, but unfortunately, the insurance does not cover chiropractic care. Dr. Matt has a monthly wellness plan for a nominal monthly amount for two health adjustments per month. The family package is shareable within my family so if more than 2 visits are required, we can draw from the family package. (His package deal is at least 1/2 the costs of other local chiropractors so our family can afford his care). I can't submit this review without mentioning Dr. Matt's staff. His office manager is Stacy, and we have to say she is most likely the kindest person walking this earth. Stacy makes every single patient feel welcome and at ease, takes time to listen to each person who enters this practice and to answer any questions. She is never too busy to connect with each patient. Crystal is the other staff that works part time and she is also lovely. Crystal was the first person I met at Dr. Matt's business. She even stood out in front of the building to help me find the office on my first visit. Kind and compassionate staff. Bonuses: Dr. Matt treats all ages - from babies and young children to adults. Additionally, Dr. Matt doesn't gaslight you and tell you that you are crazy for having pain. It isn't instant relief and there is a process to go through for chiropractic care, but it REALLY WORKS. If you are looking for relief from pain from an injury, Dr. Matt is the way to go. I highly recommend University Place Chiropractic.
