We had to come back as we were concerned about our kitten's sneezing and watery eyes and we saw Dr. Prue this time around, and she was just as helpful and thorough with us, checking just about everything to make sure our cat is in tip top condition. I'm very impressed with the doctors and staff here, you can tell all of them has a great appreciation for animals and this makes you feel that bringing your pet here means they will get the best care and service possible.

I brought my dog Khloe in early on Sunday, March 30, 2025, after she inhaled smoke from a house incident. She was quiet, lethargic, slow, pale and had heavy breathing prior our arrival. Despite this being an emergency, we were left waiting for over 90 minutes before being seen. There were no other patients. I observed the vet only arriving to work well after we were told he was "with another patient." When Khloe was finally examined, no proper treatment was provided--just a quick stethoscope check and we were sent home with no oxygen, no fluids, no blood tests, not even basic first aid. I later researched standard smoke inhalation treatment in dogs, and it was shocking to see how much was missed. Later that same day, we rushed Khloe back in critical condition. We were then pressured into agreeing to an unnecessary and expensive $7,900 treatment plan involving invasive procedures that didn't match the needs of the case. No appropriate basic care such as fluid drainage, IV support, or proper oxygen therapy, was administered in time. We were told her lungs were bleeding, likely from cancer or from rat bait poison, which I now know was a baseless and distressing misdiagnosis. Sadly, we made the heart-wrenching decision to put Khloe to sleep based on the advice given by the vet. Looking back, we are filled with grief and guilt, as basic first aid and monitoring may have saved her life and we might not have needed to come 2nd time. Instead, we were offered fear-based decisions and inadequate support. This experience has been traumatic. The emotional distress from losing a beloved pet of 11 years is overwhelming--but even more so when you feel let down by the very people you turned to for help. I urge others to think twice before entrusting their pets to this clinic. Do your research about your pet's condition and insist on appropriate treatment and question what they are trying to sell you.
