They stained my silk shirt and my dress had water marks. I will not be taking my clothes there. Horrible service.

My girl friend dropped off some of my suits to get dry cleaned, when I went to pick it up they told me they got something for me. It was my money and other valuables I had left in my coat. So, I took our satin hand embroidered bedspread to this cleaners. I had never done business with them but they are located close to where my mom loves and so it was convenient. I asked them if it was something they could do. They assured me that they could take care of this. I needed to be dry cleaned. Common sense tells you that you don't put a hand sewn king bed spread in the laundry....you dry clean it. When I went to pick it up on Saturday and brought it home, I saw that it was ruined My wife and I bought this at a high end antique store and it was over $1000. Now it is ruined. They caused the threads to fade and the colors to run. So angry. I went back to today to talk to the 2nd generation owner and all he said to me was that he was sorry and he learned a lesson for the future. Really ? That's it ? You owe me and I am going to pursue you Paying me for the damages. You told me your family has had this cleaners for years but you don't know when something needs to be dry-cleaned. Be smart, don't use this cleaners. The owner could have cared less that he ruined a one of a kind bedspread. Karma is a bitch and it will get you. Last week I brought two men's linen pants. One of them had coffee stains that I had not noticed before. The clerk informed me that he would do his best, but the removal of the spots was not guaranteed, so I left the pants and hoped for the best. Last Wednesday my husband picked the pants up but the stains remained. So I googled how to remove coffee stains and used hydrogen peroxide dawn water and vinegar and was able to remove most of the stain. I took pictures of the cleaned pants since they were still wet and went to the establishment in question. I told him that I was able to remove the stains to which he replied that I should have returned the pants and that he would have been more aggressive but there was an extra charge of 3 or 4 dollars. For both pants he charged $17.00 plus dollars. I requested some kind of reimbursement and he replied that he did what he could and that he could not do anything about it. I told him that I would never return due to his attitude towards his customers to which he shrugged his shoulders as he did not care read more

I'm always so impressed with the work here that I to write another review. I have to wear a white lab coat to class (under duress) I hate it because it gets exposed to coffee, pen marks, and all around everyday dinginess. I also have a German Shepherd who loves to take my clothes off the hanger and run around with them. Let's just say the lab coat that gets returned to me doesn't look like the one I dropped off. Let me start by saying, I consider myself a very fair person. I give credit when deserved. And growing up, I remember taking things here to be altered and everything being good. SO I decided to come back. I brought pants here and they were utterly destroyed. When I picked them up, I had one pair made into skinny jeans from bell bottoms, something I've had done in other cities and it has come out great. Not here. I brought a great old pair of really expensive jeans and I couldn't get my leg through them when I got them back. One pair ruined. I brought a pair of coated J Brand jeans that were so expensive, the job was also pretty simple, the legs were uneven and the job was just so poorly done. They were so expensive!! Needless to say, I brought them back, they said they would fix both pairs. I gave them the chance to do this. FAIL AGAIN- One pair still doesn't fit, they are ruined and the coated jeans, the bottom has just strings of hemming in different directions on each side. It's disgraceful the work that they did. It was like they didn't even try. I would never take anything else here ever again. DO NOT bring jeans here...at least not if they are worth anything to you. At this point though, I honestly wouldn't trust them with anything. Oh and be prepared to pay a premium for shitty work. Never in my life have I gotten back such embarrassing tailoring that actually ruined the quality of my clothes. The same person who works at their University location hems everything from this location as well. So beware- read more

Extremely expensive. The dry cleaner I use (the one in Hollywood blv) charges me $5 for a pant, when I went there with the same pant they guy charged me $14! It is reliable and they do the job, but you have to pay 3 times more for your clothes. read more

Just moved to the area and was looking for a local cleaner that I can use on a regular basis since I hate ironing. This cleaner is expensive. $6 to wash and press each pant and I had to make an alteration just to raise the hem on the pants so they charge $15 each for a total of $43 to wash and press two pants and two hems. I will definitely look somewhere else. It's a shame I live within walking distance. read more

I will never go to this place again. I left an outfit to be altered last Monday. I needed it for Saturday night. I went Friday night and it wasn't ready. They told me to come back Saturday. I didn't know they close early on Saturdays. I went at 3 and they close at 2pm. I had two hours to run and buy a new outfit for my event. I went today to pick it up. They didn't even offer to give me a discount for my troubles. I still paid the $15 for the alterations. The customer service is horrible. They had my number and could have called me. Scammers and liars at best. For the same shirt i brought to them 3 times they charged me 3 different prices.When i mentioned it to the son , with some sarcasm he told me some more lies and that that was that price today because he was giving me a discount. First they lie to you when you ask them why they are charging more this time than the last time for the same shirts. AJ Sparkle Cleaners is the best around for several reasons. First, they get out stains that seemed impossible to remove or lighten. Once I was unhappy with the stain removal and gave permission to go "all out" on the pants. That risk paid off, the pants looked great. That leads to my next point, the customer service is excellent. I am always greeted with a smile and "will do" attitude. Finally, AJ Sparkle Cleaners has long hours and weekend hours. I have shown up at all times, even early, and my items are ready and sparkling!
