I needed two dresses pressed in time for my brother's wedding later on that evening. The lady at the counter stated that it would take an hour in order for me to get two dresses done in time for the ceremony later on that day. I needed work done on my US WWII Reenacting uniforms & patches sewn on. Maria the seamstress is a marketplace expert!!!!. She know's her business. Such a Sweetheart. Her attention to detail is to be commended!. The attention to detail of sewing on the patches was exact, she took the pants which was too big in the leg's. Super quick and thorough. I had a jacket that's lining was all tore up from the inside and ended up being detached from the sleeve. They fixed it up better than new. I guess they're comparable to others as far as the cost. The place is clean, you don't walk in and feel you're in an old dated store that run down because they maintain it. Enter La Mar, did a quick search and my fellow tellers led me right as usual. Mended three shirts and got them pressed. Using the website was easy and you get to track the progress of your clothes while selecting options such as starching and Seams. When your clothes are ready they send a pic of the items ready to go. Wow! This place is amazing! I recently moved to the area, so I was looking for a dry cleaner. There are two places within walking distance to my house, but they required "2-3 business days". With my job, I cannot wait that turnaround time. I found LaMar on Yelp, and after reading a few amazing reviews, I decided to give them a try, and i'm so glad I did! After an initial bump in the road the manager Juan stepped in and offed the nest customer service experience in a long time. I brought my son in to have his suite tailored. The tailor/seamstress was very nice and did a great job measuring my son. The suite was ready 4 days after dropping it off. They offered to have it sooner if I needed but I did not. When we picked up the suite we once again had a nice person great us. Most importantly the suite came out exactly how my son wanted. He looks amazing in it.
