The employees ensure that the bike frame and seat height fits and that we know how to use the locking mechanism before we get sent out. Bikes are in decent condition, functional for the most part, but could be better.

You need to provide an ID they can keep while you have the bike. I suggest bringing a library card, medical cannabis or something like that...I didn't want to part with my passport or drivers license for two week. lol. But they were cool. They will work with you. They are fabulous. I rented a bike for 2+ weeks and probably rode 100 miles on that thing. It was awesome. They put a bag on it, adjusted the brakes halfway through and were so helpful. I love the reviews on here (not many) where people are surprised by the vibe here. We loved it. Captain Lee and her first mate Pixie provided for a very memorable experience during our October 2025 cruise. She gave us some valuable tidbits of Dutch, local, and cinematic (Amsterdamned for the movie trivia score) history. She also gave us relevant information about local current events and social movements. Captain Lee was funny, yet also notably well-informed. All in all, this was one of the highlights of our trip.
