Started with papadams and mint dip, then a colliflower starter with a wonderful sauce and salad. For mains we had vegetables with a butter chicken type sauce and a prawn Balti and rice. What is great is that they know not to put coriander leaf on anything, even as a garnish, as we both detest the stuff and they make it to whatever heat level you like. There is parking at the back and on the side of these shops. The restaurant is part of a chain of Indian restaurants. We weren't the only ones on a voucher having lunch today and all of us seemed to be enjoying what we got too. Pappadams and water were on the table to begin. The mixed vegetable entree (starters) were good and the two curries we had were excellent and reasonable serves. The hot curry isn't very hot but we could have asked for it to be hotter when we ordered. The naan was thin and crisp but not sure that that was how it was supposed to be. Service was excellent. The ladies who work at the front are really friendly and are quite accommodating to any of our requests. It's not the most aesthetically pleasing shop but the food and service makes up for it. We usually do take away and the portions are pretty generous. Try the butter chicken, or they have a really nice eggplant dish. Cheese and garlic nann always goes down a treat.
