We had a Kawai Piano which has not been tuned for a couple of yrs, Steve spent about an hr tuning the piano and thereafter when my daughter tried it .. she was delighted and said it sound so different and lively now. The tuner, Mark Hitrick, was extremely professional and friendly and did great work on our piano for a fair price. We're well outside his normal area of operation, but he scheduled the work during a time when he was coming to the area to service another client. The difference in the piano's sound before and after this tuning was night and day. It's actually fun to play the piano again. Mark also glued ivory key tops (which I supplied) onto keys that were missing their tops, so the piano looks a whole lot nicer now, too. His work was very neat and tidy. Since that initial tuning, Mark has been back twice for fine tuning, improving both the sound and the action of the piano even further.
