My first morning workout after joining I find out that they have no towels ( sweat/showers ) I thought that was a bit odd but okay, I started bringing my own towel. During the entire winter of 2024 they had no hot water . It took months and months for them to repair the hot water. Taking an ice cold shower when it's 30 degrees outside SUCKS . Then there's cancellation. I tried to cancel for so long and I got the run around so many times that I ended up just blocking them on my card. After all this they tried to send me a collections letter as well. That will not be paid. As I have joined another gym, with a full size pool, brand new and nice amenities for less than 50 dollars a month and you can cancel ANYTIME. Highly do not recommend this place, there are so many other competitive gym options to go to.

The classes were taught by Catherine D and Peggy T and both are great instructors. Peggy gave you modifications on almost every move if needed. Catherine came over to help or show you the best way to complete the move. Both explained it is not the quantity everything is the quality of the move, it is go at your pace while being at the pace of the class. Both teachers before the class introduced themselves asked if there were any injuries to worry about gave you information on how to work with any injuries and what to expect in the class. Both said if you need a break take it. I did find it best to wear grippy socks during class.

Her class is challenging, but you will have a lot of fun and you will sweat! Students with a dance background will appreciate her choreographies. And her music is awesome. No Pitbull! She plays soca, dancehall, reggaeton, West African music, hip hop, and r 'n b, plus authentic salsa and merengue, with accurate moves to match. One of her routines has a bhangra flavor too. When we do squats we do them to the go-go classic "Da Butt" Erica currently holds classes 4 times a week in 3 different locations in South Durham and RTP: Monday 7:30 pm at Learning Tots Academy, Tues 7:30 pm at Bethesda Elementary School (you have to go around to the back of the main school building! I learned this the hard way), Thurs 7:30 pm at the Bethesda Elementary School gymnasium (separate building from Tues nt's class), and Sat 9:30 am at Learning Tots. She also does some special events, and she sells Zumba gear. The walk-in rate for classes is $7 (going up to $8 soon though) and she offers discounted passes (punch cards) for 5 or 10 classes each. It brought me to tears by the end. The pure amount of emotion and being around a group of women elevated my spirit so much. Candles were lit all around and each of us got our own Aphrodite candle, wax melts, and other goodies. Then top add to that, we made our own bath salts and had a dance class! Suffice it to say, today was an amazing day. I've never loved myself more. The women at TML Turn Me Loose Fitness are so amazing and I will continue to take classes there until I drop lol.

The class lasted 30 mins but within that 30mins the class did a stretch/ warm up exercise, punching exercise and a work cool down sessions. What i really liked was in between punching the bag, the staff would go up to different people and basically give them a break from the punching bag and have us punch the hand mitts to basically have a better form of aiming when swinging at a target hahaha. This was definitely an amazing experience and a great way to work out and I'm glad that me and my friend Mathew was about to come out and experience it. I really enjoyed the elliptical, leg press, leg curl, Ab and bicep curl machines here. At the time I visited the space was not crowded which is greatly appreciated. This allowed me to freely use whatever I needed without the crowds and waits. I love this for me in any gym. The amenities are great. The indoor pool, sauna and hot tub are a really nice touch here. I look forward to returning to try out some of these options. As far as the price point it's up there in price in comparison to my Y membership. I think for the peacefulness and quality of equipment in this space - it may be well worth it if it's meet one's expectations. My only point out here was some cardio machines could use some dusting. They could also use some new towels here or some fabric softener would help soften the towels. I recommend bringing your own towels.

I've been to four in the last week and a half, and looking forward to my classes scheduled! I've done Zumba classes and spin classes (Flywheel), but nothing compares! The two instructors I've taken classes with are amazing. Mike, the head coach is the BEST! It's very much so like a community and every single person that works there has been genuinely kind & helpful. They obviously tried to sell me a membership, but, duh. They weren't pushy about it and were super knowledgeable and helpful when it came to the options! Well, of course I gave in & glad I did! The thing I love the most is how the classes work. It's cardio, rowing, and lifting/floor intervals. You burn so many calories in the hour long class and it's actually fun. The music is always on point. My oldest daughter has been enrolled in Acro, Ballet and Jazz and excelled tremendously in her skills during that time. She attended a summer dance program with a friend and excelled beyond the expectations of the teacher although it was only a week and I know it was due to her time spent at Stage Door. Chasta and Willis are very invested in developing a quality and nurturing environment for all the students and it showed on all levels of my daughters' participation in the studio. We also participated in the Christmas parade and the end of year recital and it was extremely organized even though there were hundreds of participants. They definitely have a spirit of excellence in all that they do and it shows! I highly recommend Stage Door to anyone interested in a quality dance experience for their child(ren)!
