Akumin Imaging in Orange Park off Kingsley avoid at all cost. their service is horrendou. We had an appointment for an MRI at 3:30 and it was after 5:00 pm before they saw us. The technician who performed the MRI ( Brian) is not capable of managing time. I would strongly recommend finding a different Imaging service before you consider using Akumin. We will be making sure our Doctors do not refer us or any patients to Akumin in the futur. read more

My daughter had an pre-surgery MRI scheduled at Akumin. They never notified her BEFORE she arrived that insurance had denied it. Now her VERY necessary surgery has been postponed, all because Akumin called to schedule but never when there was an actual issue. Unacceptable. read more

It's hard to know how to rate this spot. The techs are great. The front desk staff are very nice. But having said that, you can almost always expect a wait, and depending on time and day, it can be quite long in a very crowded waiting room. They've also made a couple of scheduling errors with my family over the past few months which was very frustrating. They do almost any procedure that you might need, so it is quite convenient if you live in Orange Park. read more
