We booked this limo/ driver to transport us from our hotel to the cruise port in Duluth, MN. When I reached out to Andy via the website for a quote he got back to me in less than an hour. I felt his quote was very reasonable and I booked it that day. This was 6 months out from our trip. I received an email confirmation the same day I did the contract and then a txt message a week out from the trip to confirm once again and also the name of the driver. Lenny the driver txt me he was on his way and then came into the lobby to assist with our luggage. Once at the port he got us right up to the cruise port check and again handled all of our luggage. We rented an Al Capone stretch limo for my Dad's 75th birthday party for 3 hours and it was a big hit! My dad had never been in a limo before and was something he's always wanted to do. Our driver, Eli, was early and very accommodating. Brought us anywhere in the city we wanted to go and made sure the music playing was to our party's taste. Everyone had a blast. Absolutely 5 stars!! Andy was great to work with through the whole process and especially because I had specific requests. They were upfront on all costs, what I could expect, and what was expected of the passengers. It was an excellent experience. Kim, our driver, was AMAZING!!! We had a mini plan, but explained we might divert from that plan, and Kim had no issues and even gave us tips on where to go and what to see. The Limo was gorgeous! Seriously, gorgeous. I have used Al's several times the last two years and absolutely love their service, communication, their party buses and limos. My daughter and her friends had the best time for all their formals! As the mother booking, I appreciated the detailed and upfront cost in an email at time of booking. I was able to place a deposit then pay balance at time of pickup. This allowed me time to collect from each student. Not only are the party buses totally set up for a fun time they are very clean and safe. I rented the party bus for my 26th bday a few days ago and it was AMAZING!!! For 4 hours it paid for its self if everyone paid $25, our driver Mike was awesome! This experience keeps getting worse... from the start a 250 dollar non refundable deposit seemed extreme, but the 625 quoted turned into 675 after tax... shouldn't that be included in quote? Then they don't take credit cards on the day... unlike the limo from black tie we rented last year. So wasted an hour scrambling for cash driver was late... not really a big deal. But after a day of driving tipped driver only to be billed later for 18 percent mandatory gratuity. So read fine print! read more
