I visited Ahmed Saad in mid-August to re-cement two crowns in my mouth and to place a third crown…read morelost while eating. He stated, falsely in my opinion, that the 2 crowns I gave him that had gotten unglued in my mouth could not be used, and charged me full price for three new crowns that he made in-house on his Cerek machine. The two adjacent crowns he made were so poorly made (2 millimeters gap between them) than entire chunks of food would always get lodged between them, causing pain and bleeding to this date, more than 3 months later. One of the crowns he needlessly replaced with the one he made in-house was a zirconia one that had been purposely made extremely strong to minimize wear from teeth grinding. The measurements made for the new crowns he made in-house were made by one of his staff; even though such measurements are crucial,, he didn't bother doing them himself, and the result is that he crowns he made are poor and have a bog gap between them. When I initially confronted Ahmed Saad, he dismissed me with the advice to rinse with a mouthwash he recommended. I complained to the Virignia Board that overseas dentists. Now I have to wait in bleeding pain until next January when my DeltaDental insurance resets again.

The process took 3-4 hours for both crowns and to have my crowns in place, they have a very cool very hi tech machine than scan your teeth and then create your crowns in another machine in front of you in just 30 min!! I actually fall a sleep while Dr. Ahmed was working on my teeth. I never fall a sleep when I am at the dentist . Right after I finished and left I started eating and drinking normally and didn't feel any pain or anything. Felt like I didn't do anything at all in my teeth. Again it is the best dentist experience in my life. Great doctor and great staff.

Every time I tried to question her decision and see if there is another way out, she spoke to me in a very condescending way and her assistant answered me very rudely as well. While checking out at the front desk I scheduled a 6 month cleaning appointment with the hygienist as I really liked her and at that moment Dr Maharaja came out and said to her reception staff that I didn't need any cleaning appointments as she didn't think I would be sticking around. I was in shock at her rudeness and I came out crying of her office. After that I went to 3 other dentists for a second opinion and each one of them was extremely surprised when I told them that my previous dentist recommended to have that tooth removed and an implant put in place. I was referred to an endodontist by one of the dentists. The endodontist was also quite perplexed at why such drastic measures were recommended by Dr Maharaja to me.

The office is clean, the hygenists are capable but this environment is not safe for anyone, including themselves because of the group bullying. I hope they get help with their anger issues.

Instead of immediately going for a root canal, she opted to first fill the tooth and see how it heals. So far so good. I've been having some cold sensitivity which I really hope goes away. I don't really know much about root canal's other than the same look of despair everyone makes when saying "root canal" haha. I came back about 2 weeks later for a follow up and cleaning. Dr. Cat is very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend. She seems to be pretty flexible with her schedule. I would recommend booking online since she works in the office by herself and may not be able to answer the phone right away or reply to emails as quickly.

Also, he is ALWAYS on time and does not delay the appointments. Most importantly, my mom and I, we are 100% satisfied with his treatments and trusts his treatment plans and his service. Although we live far away from his office, we've never thought about finding a new dentist as it is hard to find a trustful dentist! I would give 100 starts or more if I can.

My name is Andrew and I had to write this review since I would like to make sure readers have a chance to hear the opinion of someone that value things differently.We first visited Dr Farrahi to perform a root canal and crown treatment for my wife as she was unable to complete it in CA due to move. We have been to many dental offices in the past and seen all kind of offices and dentists, offering and performing multiple unnecessary treatments. I have to say if you are looking for choice of toothpaste taste or any unnecessary things rather than honest and caring dental care you better off go somewhere else. We have been there and choose the caring care! Visiting Virginia Dental Care has been absolutely different from the past experience. Dr Farrahi is definitely deserves our best recommendations as she has provided the best care to me and my family in the past 18 months. Here is our opinion: The office: very nice and contemporary design with all the latest equipments to best of my knowledge. The staff: very friendly group of young professionals, doing their best to get you to feel home, my kids loved Crystal, unfortunately we noticed she left the office to become a hygienist and the two other staff are planning to become dentist. The hygienists: We have seen three different hygienist so far and Amanda and Jennifer are our favorite ones. The doctors: Dr Farrahi is definitely one of the best and brings the best education in dentistry, from Sweden. In contrary to other opinions expressed here we noticed that she does take the time to walk one through the treatments and my wife is thankful that she rejected to do the treatment recommended by our dentist in CA explaining and proving that it was unnecessary. She performed a simple two surface filling instead and the sensitivity is gone. We never had so little cost for our dental care. My youngest son, age 6, hated dentist visits.... Now she wants to be a dentist ..... thank you Dr Farrahi .... Dr Larry Rayes, we meet him briefly during our last visit, he looks very energetic young doctor. Moving to new area is always fun, new friends, places to go, things to explore, ....., however finding a new dentist is not. Sunday afternoon I start having pain and had to find a dentist. Unfortunately no one was open or answered my messages except VDC. The on call doctor did go through my symptoms and he scheduled an emergency visit first thing Monday morning. I choose to come to their Vienna practice since it is not far from my office. This is a small and very modern practice, much nicer than the one I was visiting back home (LA). Staff are very friendly and helpful. They worked hard to get all information needed from my insurance to ensure I do not need to pay for the visit. Doctor was considerate and gentle, she sincerely inquired about my comfort throughout the appointment. After a number of x-rays and exam, she briefed me on a treatment plan, apparently part of an old filling was broken off. I had to wait 30 minutes since she had other patients. Office manager was very kind and staff checked on my multiple times to make sure I was comfortable before doctor come back and restored my tooth. I was very impressed with her work and the office staff I left the office with no pain. I am big fan and already scheduled my regular exam and cleaning in the Ballston office. read more

Dr. Bolduc doesn't seem to take his job seriously. He seemed hungover on my first visit. He is pleasant, but he treated me like I was one of his buddies rather than a patient who was paying him to be my dentist. My wife went to him a few months later and felt extremely uncomfortable with his bedside manner, hence the reason I'm writing this review. I don't know if he tries to pick up married women regularly, but he is extremely unprofessional and we will not be back to Bolduc Dental. read more

A friend recommended Dr. Bolduc because the practice is close to my office. He is an OK dentist. I can't say that I was in pain getting my teeth cleaned, but he wasn't exactly gentle. I won't be back because I didn't feel comfortable with his bedside manner. I got a sense that he is exceptionally friendly with his female patients, if you know what I mean. She goes out of her way to make sure you feel comfortable....including putting wireless headphones on you so that you can watch any Netflix show you want during your cleaning since she has a TV above her chair. It always feels so....luxurious :) Her cleanings are gentle, thorough, and she is great at explaining x-rays, and following-up on things she has been keeping an eye on every 6 months. I even ran into her at the car dealership after I had only been to see her once, and she recognized me and remembered my name! She really seems to care and take interest in her patients. I always love that she professionally cleans my Invisalign retainer each time I go even though I didn't get Invisalign through them. She recently got a new hygienist who is also very friendly. I did get a couple of gum pokes when she cleaned my teeth but it wasn't as bad as previous hygienists in other dental offices. They are practicing strict COVID measures which I really appreciate. The process is to give them a call when you park and they will let you know when to come up. Masks are required, and they give you a clean set of gloves right before your cleaning.

Dr. Devasia's work was amazing, rebuilding and placing veneers on my teeth. She really knows what she's doing. She and her team use state of the art equipment and the latest dental techniques. Since then I've had cleanings and routine care. I can honestly say I've not experienced a moment of pain in Dr. Devasia's office. Alas, she no longer takes insurance, but her staff is very willing to communicate with insurance providers for their patients when issues arise.

I stayed in the room during each appointment and saw what a perfectionist Dr. Huang is about making the upper partial fit comfortably and yet be easy to insert and remove. It almost made me wish I needed Dr. Huang's care. (I probably will, eventually!) I especially appreciate how Dr. Huang and Dr. Christopher, despite not being in practice together, together worked out the best way to take care of my husband's many dental problems.
