Where do I start? I went in for a lease buyout and clearly provided my numbers and the price range I wanted. My credit was strong, and this should have been an easy transaction. I was even comfortable purchasing GAP and only asked for one thing: an itemized breakdown of all charges. First, I want to recognize Chris Lynch. Thee salesperson, who was excellent. He listened, understood what I wanted, and worked hard to get the deal done. I left excited to celebrate with my wife because we had purchased a car we loved. Unfortunately, that excitement changed when I got home and reviewed the paperwork. I noticed that the itemized numbers didn't add up, the GAP coverage wasn't what I understood it to be, and some charges on the final contract weren't included in the itemization I had been given. I returned to discuss this with the finance manager, Jefferson Morgan. Rather than simply reviewing the paperwork and explaining the discrepancies, he became defensive and irate. At one point, he told me: "I provide a different printout with a different total from what you signed because 99% of my customers get confused by the stamps and document charge." Apparently, I'm the 1%. The irony is that I specifically asked for a detailed itemization because I wanted to understand exactly what I was paying for. He also referred to the product as "GAP+" and said the products couldn't be sold separately. Yet GAP was shown separately on the itemization while another product appeared to be included in the payoff amount. The issue wasn't simply the total price--it was how the charges and products were presented, which I found extremely confusing and, frankly, deceptive. When I questioned him about the coverage, I had to ask the same basic question several different ways before getting a clear explanation. He eventually offered to provide me with a copy of what I actually signed, saying they do things this way because they've "been burned before." That explanation didn't make sense to me, especially since the lender had already funded the transaction. I ultimately cancelled the GAP purchase. Since it was Sunday, I asked Jefferson to confirm the cancellation. His response was that he wasn't going to call me and that I could email him instead. His attitude and lack of professionalism were extremely disappointing. I also spoke with a sales manager, James, who listened to my concerns, apologized, and said he would call me to confirm the cancellation. Unfortunately, I never received that call. I will now be refinancing the loan through a credit union offering me an APR about 1% lower. Honestly, even if they had offered the same rate, I would still refinance. After this experience, I have no interest in allowing Jefferson to earn a commission on this transaction. My advice: review every document carefully before leaving this dealership and make sure the itemized numbers match what you actually sign. Don't assume they do. If you're buying here, ask for Chris was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely helpful. As for Jefferson Morgan and the finance department, my experience was unfortunately the opposite. What should have been a great experience buying a car I love was overshadowed by a lack of transparency, defensiveness, and poor customer service.

This review happened at the other location but both are not run the best. I have been doing business with al packer for over 15 years and unfortunately this will be my last time with them. Ironically my father worked for them so some of my fondest childhood memories are playing in the cars as a little boy while my dad worked so it's unfortunate I have to leave these reviews. Communication between kyle service manager and tim operations manager were not great as they had to step in for their newer service advisor mikey downs as he was not communicating as well. They had my vehicle for 8 days to change a water pump, oil change and battery install. They also overcharged me for a battery that on their website and fords website is quoted at 199.00 but tim the ops manager said we don't sell those batteries and charged me 249.00. Yet the exact battery on the promotion for 199.00 is the one installed in my truck. We all know dealerships are known to do some shady things and unfortunately I've worked for a few dealers so I know what goes on behind the scene but blatant sales misconduct is unacceptable and keeping me out of vehicle for 8 days to change a water pump is also unacceptable given I had already made an appt so they knew I was coming in for a noise to be diagnosed. If they were that backed up I could have come back another week. All of this is unfortunate as I have bought two vehicles from al packer and done all my service here but that is done with. I tried emailing both general managers of both locations and did not get responses as well

Email from Ford saying my bluecruise finally works.

Ford was able to fix my truck with over the air updates. Just proving Al Packer and their tech didnt do what they said.

I purchased a 2024 Ford Bronco back in August of 2024 from Al Packer. I've been diligent on keeping up with the routine servicing and had no issues until recently. Two weeks ago I opened my car door to find the seat panel loose and immediately called Al Packet to take a look at it. I brought it in April 15, 2026 and was told that it being under 3 year warranty and under 25k miles it should be covered. After being charged $199.00 for a diagnostic (which it didn't need, the car runs with no issues) I was told that Ford would not cover the repair. I asked why not? It's a defect, not wear and tear or from an accident. I was told it's from Ford directly. Paid the $199.00 and took it back home for answers. My car extended warranty company, Ford corporate and Al Packer had me spend the next several days with phone calls, emails and texts passing the blame to the next person to contact. The blatant passing of the buck and lack of customer service is absolutely unacceptable. I am at the point where I will take the loss, pay for the repairs and trade in for another brand. Never again deal with Al Packet Ford, and certainly don't be a fool to believe that warranties will be there in your time of need. I even read on my warranty paperwork that you can be denied coverage "at their discretion"

We did a thing... we bought a Ford. First one for our family and had a wonderful experience with Brenda as our guide. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable on what she was selling, she was efficient with our time and patient with our daughter. She was brutally honest and that is very respected as my husband is a mechanic and knows what he is talking about. I would absolutely recommend Brenda and her team to a friend, family member, and even a skeptic like myself. They all were helpful, made you laugh, and took the time to let you explore and question.

***Long Post Alert***…read more The car buying process has NEVER been this easy! I had to call my sales associate back to make sure we didn't forget to do something So after the PB Mitsubishi debacle, I was reminded that I know someone who works at CarMax in VA. So I went on their website and got prequalified. I found the vehicle I wanted in Orlando and then reached out to my guy to see what the next step was. This was on a Friday afternoon. My guy was off that day but jumped right in to assist me. He advised me to schedule a test drive so that the car would be reserved. He looked at what I had submitted and gave me an idea of what my payments would look like and what bank I would get the loan from. He said on Monday he would call me and we would get the process done. Over the weekend, I browsed through their inventory and found another one that I may be interested in that was in NC. Fast forward to Monday (3/17/2015), I spoke to my guy told him that I found a newer model of the vehicle I originally picked out that I wanted. Provided him with the stock number and he advised me to cancel my appointment with the one in Orlando and pay the shipping fee to have the one I wanted shipped to my nearest store. Then he submitted everything to the bank. He then told me that his goal is to make sure when I get to the dealership, I won't need to do much. The ETA for was between 3/22 and 3/27. I was notified every step of the way with the shipping of the vehicle. It arrived at the Royal Palm store on the morning of 3/22. All of my paperwork was submitted on that day and reps from the store made contact with me multiple times throughout the day. By 6:30 that evening, I was at CarMax speaking with Amanda and Brogan (I think that was his name). They were perfect and had me out of there within one hour of my arrival with my keys in my hand!!!!!! I would recommend CarMax to anyone! The customer service was above and beyond from start to finish! In addition, I called a few days later asking for new windshield wipers and they told me to come one over and they would take care of it. They did, with no hassle!

Attached are pictures of the front passenger side tire with puncture marks and rip on interior wall. Carmax let me drive off the lot like that. I live 20mins away and immediately went flat on the way. The person who changed my tire said I was lucky it didn't pop and disintegrate while on 441. No response from CarMax corporate office about it. Also, needed to put in another 1k because there was no maintenance done on vechile on carmax hands. Even the windshield wiper fluid was empty. Carmax left a gps tracker in the car. Oh, and personal information from previous owners in the glove box. All around hack job. Beware if you are selling or buying at this location Update: Carmax corporate office and royal palm dealership called me to discuss. Jason M, GM of royal palm, was helpful and did everything he could to rectify the situation. That is the only positive to story but not enough to change the rating. The national team is useless. Not one person could name ANY of the 125+ point inspections checks. Empty apologies. Zero care given or compensation for my time and troubles that i need to invest to get the car running properly. I talked to a woman who spoke like a kindergarten teacher and treated me like a little kid. Please note that their sales team is capped on commission so their sales rep are not experts but rather glorified retail associates. I would love to sue them after the ordeal but i am no competition for a billion dollar company. Carmax was founded by the same investors as Circuit City. The downfall will be the same. CM is way too big and corporate to initiate change before failure sets in. Not surprised this company is tanking.

The manager, Gabriella, personally called my father confirming she saw his email and stated our agreed-upon deal was ready. She told us to just come in, pick a color, and sign and drive. Instead, my father, my brother, and I walked into a trap. Gabriella sent out a shark-like salesman who immediately tried to push us away from our finalized agreement. When we called them out, Gabriella went into hiding and refused to come back out to face us or honor the deal. They run this place like a shady, old used car lot. This behavior is incredibly embarrassing for the Mazda brand. This dishonest location is a terrible look for a company with such a good name and reputation. Avoid Gabriella and Royal Palm Beach Mazda at all costs. Responding back to business manager. Even with your response, you're being dishonest. I did not just walk into your show. I sent an email out laying out what I'm looking to purchase what discounts I was looking at and what final price. I got a phone call from Gabriella that accepted my email and told me to come in to write the deal and make the purchase like I said you guys are wasting peoples time. Shoved it into a covered carrier and had to deflate the tires to 5lbs to get it in. Car arrived with dead battery at 1AM, needed jump and all tires inflated just to move it. The car was damaged in shipping and required some repaint. The title also took weeks and many phone calls until it finally arrived. The truck also came with bad alternator, some electrical wiring issues which caused the A/C to stop working the first time we drove it. Radio had no bracket installed so it fell into the box, rear seats are all upholstered MDF where tiniest screws were used to secure them into the frame and have all come out and have to be re-drilled and secured. The turbo was not connected, thermostat housing was cracked causing overheat and requiring replacement even though the car was described as "completely restored" and "running like new." I just saw after 5 months Todd responded to my review so I thought I would update this. Unfortunately Todd I can not enjoy the Defender from the first day I had it delivered because it overheats, it needed a thermostat, new radiator and a coolant flush. The wipers do not work, the defroster and heat do not work, the battery light is on because the alternator is faulty and needs to be replaced. I also have numerous shorts in the electrical system and it needs a new wiring harness. Thus far I have over $3700.00 dollars in repair bills I had to pay before I could even drive the car. I sent you the receipts and pictures but you did not reply and now your trying to save your reputation with a pathetic response on yelp. Bottom line you sold me a fresh paint job on a mechanical nightmare, thanks Todd. I regret doing business with this company and would suggest to anyone if you buy a used car from them have it checked out by an independent shop.
