Its almost impossible to get a picture of Wesley looking at the camera since he would move around constantly, but he managed to capture great photos of him looking straight at the camera. I felt horrible when Wesley had an accident in his house, but he was very understanding about it and told me not to worry because he knew how puppies were. When I saw the pictures of Wesley, I fell in love! they looked so clean and professional, it looked like Wesley belonged in a dog calendar or catalog. I met Wii's three other dogs, and I could tell from the way he interacted with his dogs, he is very passionate about what he does, and it shows in his work. I would definitely bring Wesley again to get more photos done, and I recommend him for those who also would like to include our furry four legged friends in the family portrait.

I searched around the Houston area for a pet photographer after my 13 yr old border collie was diagnosed with cancer. I came across Wii on Yelp, and boy am I glad I did! Wii's portfolio looked impressive, and his website mentioned that he started his company after his own dog was diagnosed with cancer, so I decided to contact him to schedule a session. What followed was an amazing experience! Wii was responsive, friendly, and professional right from the get go. He helped me set up a photoshoot after informing me of how the process works. I chose to do a "Joy" session which his website states are for "pets who are in their elderly age or who have terminal illness." Our session was held at the beautiful Hermann Park. Wii definitely had a way with my pup! He tuned in to her individual personality, and spent time getting acquainted with her by giving her yummy treats. Kaya is VERY camera shy, but he made her comfortable and really got down on her level (literally!). He was able to get her to look directly at the camera, which I was amazed by since I have only been able to get maybe two such shots myself (she REALLY hates cameras!). Wii took the photoshoot very seriously, and spent over two hours with us, directing us to different locations in the park in order to capture the best shots. Soon after, I was given previews of the pictures which came out beautifully! Wii offers Enhanced Digital Proof Downloads, which I love because they are cheaper than prints and you can save the images to your computer/post online/etc. (prints are also available if you ask for them). I highly recommend Wii-Winn photography first and foremost because Wii is an exceptionally talented photographer, and his love of dogs is evident in his work. To top it off, he offers the cheapest prices in town BY FAR! (about half the price of other studios). He is fun, friendly, and a pleasure to do business with. Kaya is a fan too! Thanks Wii!

I see the other review commenting on the price (or questions there of, wth?) and yes a 2 hour session is $500 which includes 2 high quality edited photos (with digital rights) and you can individually purchase as many additional pictures with digital rights for a reasonable fee per photo or as a package. I have been very delinquent in writing this, but better late than never!…read more Ann and Candid Fx are incredible to work with and so unbelievably talented! We hired Ann for our engagement photos and wedding day. When I went looking for a photographer, I found several in our price range and looked through all of their portfolios online. Ann's was head and shoulders above the rest with a very editorial feel. I setup a meeting with her, my mother and fiance. The instant we met her, I knew she was the right choice for us. We left and immediately all agreed to hire her. My fiance was so impressed. Ann is not only professional, but an absolute joy to work with. We aren't that comfortable taking photos, but she put us at ease, had fun with us, and encouraged our own creativity. Our engagement photos were radiant and people commented that they could actually see the love we have for each other in the photos. Our wedding photos are out of this world. Granted, we lucked into an incredible evening sky, but without Ann's exceptional eye and vision, it wouldn't have meant anything (note my profile photo is a cropped version of one of my wedding day portraits). That one sentence really wraps the entire review up, but I'll elaborate a little more for enquiring minds :-) We received notice a few days before the wedding that Ann had come down with the nasty bug that was going around and had been super sick. She immediately suggested another photographer in her place in case she wasn't able to pull through. As it turned out, she showed up ALONG with the replacement photographer as a backup and created BEAUTIFUL pictures. I joked with Ann that I was going to tell people, "If your photographer doesn't get on the ground to take a few shots, he/she isn't doing ANYTHING!" She was a real trooper with a great eye and we enjoyed the opportunity to work with her.
