I asked for an egg that wasn't " hard-boiled" and guess what came back on top... a mini quiche. I could see the confusion though, the cook probably thought that I wanted an egg prepared a different way than before. Anyway, the cheese on it wasn't even melted and the arugula was slimy like cooked spinach. Coffee egg cheese biscuit arugula . The only thing I ate was the old dry bacon. Our waiter was very nice and attentive and always checking on us. We started off with the bread, which was complementary and delicious. For an appetizer, we had the meatballs, which were very good. For my meal I had the flank steak. It is a very generous portion. It came with an egg on top of the sliced steak and served on top of bed of fries. It came with a really good dipping sauce. I was not able to finish it. My spouse had a 10 ounce filet mignon that came with bone marrow. I sampled some of his, and it was delicious. Overall, it was a lovely experience with beautiful decor. Next time I definitely want to sit in one of the large red booths.

We started off with the sauteed shrimp and the piquillo peppers. THANK GOD the piquillo peppers are a Solera regular. I will be getting them again. Final course we had the rum bread pudding and the manchego cheesecake. The manchego cheese is definitely a rich and an acquiring flavor. Without the blueberry sauce, you would think its just a slab of cheese. The rum bread pudding was spectacular. I have never loved a rum sauce with my bread pudding, but the Solera one kept me wanting more.
