The ER determined I had pneumonia in both lungs squeezing my heart. I was sent home with instructions to see my primary care (Eastern Medical Specialists) within 2 days for follow-up to check my condition. When we called to make the appointment we were asked: 1) What was the ER diagnosis? 2) Have you had the COVID vaccine? 3) Were [you] tested for COVID? We answered: 1) pneumonia 2) No 3) Yes- the results were negative. We were then told Quote: "Because [you] have pneumonia and have not been vaccinated you cannot come into our office." This is not only discrimination against the UN-vaccinated, but clearly a total lack of concern for the health and welfare of an existing patient.

This did nothing to end his pain. We were up all night with him in pain. So much that he said couldn't get down the stairs to go to the ER. I called them back asking them for pain meds & response was no, it's only been 12 hours!! (Medicines didn't have enough time to work). Was told by 1 that they did prescribe pain meds and by the Physician's assistant that they didn't give them. Their advice was go to ER. So knowing how ER waits can be (4 to 5 hours) they were sending us there!! You think you will get immediate relief from your pain ?? Guess again!!
