I do not think I could have been sent better people!! Seriously, Garrison and Mike have been super helpful! Garrison has been communicating very well as far as what they are doing, what to expect and their plans for the following day. He's been very empathetic and caring throughout this. I have a LOT of belongings and the majority have been destroyed. The worst part is, I was in the midst of unpacking before I left a month ago because I recently purchased this home. I have boxes of clothes, shoes, accessories, purses and so much more that are now trash. Mold on so many things. Due to the bed sitting in water, the legs have cracked, clothes on hangers in the closet smell like mold. It's a disaster. I was upset at the beginning because this is not what one wants to walk into. My plan was to unpack boxes, not pack up what I can salvage. Needless to say, IF you find yourself in need of a restoration company (which I hope you don't), you can't go wrong with Garrison and Mike. Turns out that they hadn't even started building the box when they called to reschedule since on Fridaty cabinet guy called me directly to see if he could stop by to match the wood. On the following Monday I fired them (why work with dishonest contractors). I told them if they had the box built bring it by on Wednesday which they did. The entire job was suppose to cost $3600. I had to email them three times to get a refund. They emailed me a week later to say that the box cost $3100 and there would be a $75 change fee!! The box cost no more than $500 to make!!!!!! No response when I complained about the service price and refund. Crooks!!!!!

Some of the good companies I found do not cover Gainesville area. Then one my of neighbors recommended Retex. She had the roof done in August and Retex was the cheapest quote. So I called Retex, and the phone was answered right away (not like some other places I called). Wes met with me over zoom and went over the whole re-roofing process with a powerpoint presentation (what would be replaced and what might be extra). The quoted price wasn't the cheapest, but I liked how Wes went through the whole procedure, so I decided to go with Retex. The job was done promptly, the crew was courteous. Wes was very communicative during the whole process. What I liked the most is that whatever concern I had, Wes would address them until I am satisfied. Looking back, it would be an even better experience if I told them my expectations in detail before the job was done. There isn't much rain yet, but I believe the roof will hold up in heavy rains. Even if there is a problem, I am confident that Retex will come back and address it. I would definitely recommend Retex to friends.
