I am really concerned. We submitted our paperwork and were informed in December that everything was fine and wait for the next step. I asked my husband to follow up and was informed that a payment did not go through. I frantically looked through bank statements, contacted my bank only to discover the payment was not processed. Lazaro , our case manager initially was very attentive but it has been very difficult to get a hold of him and more challenging to trust that paperwork is submitted accordingly. We selected this office for the stellar reputation and initially we got a lot of support. I am really concerned as we paid for services and Lazaro has been unresponsive . Ultimately, we submitted all paperwork in December and were told everything was fine. Three months later we decided to check status and we were shocked to hear that the final package has not been submitted. I understand we all get busy and errors occur , but I am very worried and concerned. read more

Extremely Unprofessional and Unreliable I do not recommend this immigration lawyer to anyone. Our experience over the past 7-8 years has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. They never kept us updated on the status of our case, never contacted my husband regarding any progress, and almost never answered phone calls or returned messages. When USCIS rejected his U-Visa, we didn't even hear it from them--we got the letter directly from immigration and had to call the office ourselves just to inform them about the decision. Their lack of communication throughout the entire process was beyond unprofessional. The only time they would call was to ask for payments. It felt like once they got paid, they completely forgot about our case. After all these years, we feel let down, stressed, and abandoned by a legal team that was supposed to help. I made an appointment about 2 weeks ago and finally showed up today 4/19/23 In the morning. First of all Amiras staff is very respectful and patient since Im not to savy when it comes to immigration law. I do ask for a work permit but first get a Parole in place and she tell me i will get it in 8 months, nice I said but after the parole was received they take a break of 2 months and when they contact me, they want to make another charge for the work permit which I won't accepted and they agree to do that without charges but never get a work permit now it's one year and a month from first consultation. unbelieved this attorneymake the mistakes she did but most the trust on her word. read more

I'm actually a client, and let me tell you I won't be for long. Ive been a client for maybe 4 years now maybe more, and nothing has changed with my legal status. I've never even seen this lawyer. The interns or paralegals never have good answers about my case, no one ever knows what's going on, they transfer my calls to I don't know who! (They always say random names) I've left voicemails and no one ever gets back to me. They have no problem sending me bills or emails on what I have to pay, but never contact me for any further information. I'm very upset because I've spend over 8,000 and nothing is happening. Maybe if they read this they'll actually get back to some clients. The only thing I regret is not firing them. So sad, lawyers are suppose to help people that pay them, not take advantage of, and that's exactly how I feel. read more

If i could put less than 1 start i would! I paid $40 last Thursday, 2/18/21 for a "phone" consult at 11am. Mind you I did not mind driving to her office ine hour but whatever covid. I paid my money had my appointment today 2/22/21 at 11am and never did i speak to the lawyer! I spoke more to the receptionist MARIA with horrible attitude! I lost my whole day of work for this consult for nothing!! I called and emailed them all day (no lie) and everytime i called the receptionist would leave me on hold for 30 plus minutes !!! I asked for refund because I paid for a service I did not receive. And they act like it's impossible to do, it's possible when a client doesn't get what was paid for. read more
