Since early this year, I have been trying to schedule an appointment with them, but despite multiple attempts via email and phone, communication has been extremely delayed. After several months, I finally received a response--only to be informed that an additional fee is required to discuss my current case, even though I've already made a prior payment. While both Attorney Cross and Paralegal Rodriguez are kind and knowledgeable, their lack of responsiveness has been a significant concern. Reeves tried to deceive our family into believing that they could represent my elderly grandfather during re-entry at customs when in fact no individual has the right to representation at primary or secondary inspection. The contract clearly states that Reeves will represent my grandpa, so this is a clear misrepresentation of the fact that legal representation is not permitted. We saw no progress in our case, and Eric is extremely slow at responding to emails because he is "busy" with other cases. But when I sent an email telling him he misled our family, he had the time to respond quickly to reject all of my statements. The response was rudely worded, and he tried to gaslight me into thinking that he stated the circumstances of our case in the initial Zoom meeting when in reality, he did not state them. read more

Best firm ever! I needed a new lawyer after the first just took our money. Everyone thought our case was too difficult being that it was a communist country (Cuba) and during the T* administration. But not Reeves!! Devin and Michael were the best lawyers anyone could have asked for. They were always available to answer questions via email, get on the phone to calm me down, give me pointers when connecting with my local councilwoman, and strategize next moves. I had the pleasure of working with attorney May, attorney Brittany, and chief paralegal Francine while applying for my permanent residency application. (Finally got it this month). They were a wonderful team! The whole process took many years (with multiple obstacles along the way), but the team was there to support me every step of the way. For instance, during this process, I had a job offer and needed the EAD work permit ASAP. Francine and Brittany were able to submit paperwork for an EAD expedition, which went through successfully. Likewise, when my application was delayed, the whole team went the extra mile and sent case inquiries, called USCIS, and submitted request to Ombudsman's office to push my permanent residency application through. They told me that they can't help me after I paid so I told them I need my money back and they said nope,Frances E.Arroyo told me that so I told her you guys charged me $3000 just to fill out the forms and she said yes I was so disappointed cause they made a contract saying so much things and never got what they promised. This is my friend's story (told with her permission): My friend, let's call her Jane, approached Reeves & Assoc. for legal advice on an immigration issue. After a consultation, the lawyer said they had a strong case and encouraged pursuing legal action. A payment plan was established and the process was started. In the course of three years, the responsibility of establishing communication and receiving updates about the case fell upon Jane (the law firm never initiated contact) and each time, she received the same response of, "it's in the process." At that point, Jane stopped contacting the firm. Two years later she received a call from the firm. They wanted to meet with her to discuss her case. One of the senior lawyers reviewed her case (the previous lawyer assigned to her case no longer worked there) and wanted to renew her case (free of charge). Again, no contact was made thereafter. After a year, Jane made an appointment with the lawyer for a consultation after learning that a new law had passed that would help her case. During the consultation, the lawyer quoted her a price (5x the first case) and pushed her to sign a contract that same day. Jane asked for time to think it over and requested a copy of the entire case to review it herself. At that moment, without explanation, the lawyer refused to take her case any further and closed it. Jane took her copy of the case and went to another law firm. After reviewing the case file, the new firm stated that the lawyer from Reeves & Assoc. was negligent in handling the case; they did not make prompt responses for deadlines and made other critical mistakes that prevented the case from moving forward.
