I came to Bryan, referred to, from a friend and now, I find myself doing the referring because Bryan and the team have helped me not only prioritize my filings, but use the every appropriate write off in my business. I would not use Alamitos Tax Services unless you want your taxes completely mismanaged and to lose out on a significant amount of money that should be yours. Bryan and his team proved to be completely incompetent in handling my taxes which led to me losing out on over $5,000. He did not follow clear and specific directions I gave him to handle my taxes even though he agreed to the follow the directions and that they were the best course to take. They also had me pay state fees to California that I did not owe. Bryan blamed it on someone at his office acting rogue in filing my returns way before they were suppose to and showed a complete lack of knowledge in how California applies fees and taxes to LLCs and Corps. Even though Bryan and his team messed up multiple times in handling my tax returns and cost me over $5,000, they wholeheartedly showed no remorse or accountability for their errant actions. They did not even say sorry or offer some sort of compensation to make the situation better (e.g., reducing tax prep fees) when acknowledging they had made mistakes. Let me start off by saying if this is your tax office and you're satisfied with them, consider yourself lucky. I would discourage anyone from patronizing Los Alamitos Tax office on Katella. I've never experienced a more incompetent, unprofessional staff and owner in my life in regards to my 2021 taxes. Long story short. So on March 14, 2021, I called the office as a new client and asked if they were taking new clients and if they could assist me and my husband with our 2021 taxes and was told yes. (I was emailed a new client form on 3/15/22). By March 24, 2022 they had all the necessary paperwork to complete our taxes. After numerous phones, emails, and drop-ins, not once did we receive a return message in regards to the status of our taxes. I actually called on April 16, 2022 and the receptionist said they were on vacation for a week since tax season was over. (Still no one knew the status of our taxes). Finally on April 22, 2022 I had to leave work early just so I could get to the office b4 the receptionist left. I asked for all my documents back and the receptionist after apologizing profusely (which I got the feeling she has to do often) found them in an office and untouched gave them to me and shockingly no work had been done. All the while the owner Yaron (I think his name is) never bothered to come out of his office to see why they were losing a client and who dropped the ball. Yaron, if this is your business, remember 1 bad review can drive away 30 customers and I will repost every year at tax time.
