Danny Charbel is one of the best realtors we have ever worked with in finding a home…read more We do not use the word 'Best" lightly and we have worked with many realtors over the years, but Danny is top notch. When we met Danny, we took a weekend trip to Texas. We wanted to meet our new realtor and visit some houses in San Antonio and the surrounding area, and we realized during this weekend to Texas we would need more time to find just the right home. The weekend we spent with Danny was a fun time getting to learn about him, and he learned about us so that we knew we were on the right track to find the right home. We needed to find a place to stay quickly once we move to Texas and during the weekend visit luck was on our side, Danny has a fully furnished Airbnb that we decided to rent while we search for our new home. Once we moved to Texas, we rented the Airbnb. We did find a house quickly (thanks to Danny listening to what we were looking for in a home) and we rented the Airbnb for four months while our new home was in the process of completion. Danny is very knowledgeable, professional and listens to his clients. During the closing process, Danny made sure we felt at ease during this process and took all our many questions and all were answered in detail. Danny was with us every step of the way. We cannot express the thanks to Danny Charbel for being the person he is, he made us feel very comfortable in finding a home. On a side note, Danny has great contacts with different trades, that is how we have great plantation shutters, electrician, painters, etc. This is also a great feature with a realtor that has many great connections for his clients.

His guidance and knowledge helped us find our perfect home, even as we navigated the buying process from out of state. He is one of the most thorough and communicative professionals I have ever worked with. Danny came to us highly recommended, and still he surpassed our expectations. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in the San Antonio area in need of a well-connected, knowledgeable and personable real estate agent.

Dillon has been phenomenal. His communication, clarity, and follow‑through were consistently excellent. He is incredibly customer‑focused, proactive, and truly goes above and beyond in every aspect of his work. Throughout the entire process, we felt fully informed--whether it was timelines, progress updates, or unexpected issues that came up. Any time we reached out, Dillon responded quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. Honestly, this has been the best turn‑around manager experience we've ever had. Dillon is an outstanding maintenance manager, and we wanted to make sure his exceptional performance and dedication were recognized. We are extremely satisfied and deeply appreciative of the work he put into bringing this property back to life.

From the day we moved in, our experience has been disappointing. We've submitted multiple maintenance requests that have either gone unanswered or been marked as completed without anyone ever coming to our home. One of the most concerning issues is a large hole our neighbor's dog dug under the fence, allowing it access to our backyard. I was told they would "look into it, and call me back" but I never received a follow-up. Despite multiple calls, voicemails, and an online work order, the issue remains unresolved weeks later. We also reported an unbalanced ceiling fan that appears unsafe to use. After waiting over two months, I received a notification stating the repair had been completed, even though no one ever came to inspect or fix it. Communication has been extremely poor. Calls are rarely returned, voicemails go unanswered, and it feels nearly impossible to get a response from maintenance, the tenant coordinator, or Property Manager Melisa Day. Another frustration is that because these are new construction townhomes, tenants are expected to coordinate directly with vendors for certain repairs. That responsibility should fall on property management, not the tenant. To make matters worse, there is a significant gnat infestation. Despite paying for private pest control every two months and purchasing Zevo traps at my own expense, the problem persists. After speaking with several neighbors, I learned this is a community-wide issue. My experience has left me feeling that once the lease is signed, tenant concerns are no longer a priority. If you are considering renting here, I encourage you to carefully research the property before making your decision. ( we are very clean people three of those zevos have been there for 5 days, one I just changed yesterday.)

Michelle was the first person at the firm to manage both homes and she was fantastic! After she left about 3 years ago I was very concerned that I would not receive the same level of service. I was met by a Company representative named, Bryan who said he was the President or Vice President of this Company. He showed me the Rental Space and I agreed to Lease. I was then informed that I was to download the application and submit it online. That was impossible to do because you never get passed verifying your email. After many unsuccessful attempts by phone and email to contact Bryan, Mark and even another Staff member who did their apartment management, I then gave up. The rent was very reasonable and my intention was to pay for the entire year up front. I passed by the Property yesterday and noticed that the space was leased. There is certainly no indication that Pyramis Company is honorably representing the best interest of the Owner of this property on Rough Rider, San Antonio, Texas. With this Post, I am hoping that in some way it reaches the Property Owners and informs them of how poorly their interest and Property is being administered. I believe as potential Renters we at the very least, deserve to be treated with respect when you represent the interests of the person you work for.

I must say it had a lot to do with their own phenomenal characters. For example, Frances Escobedo, Ernie Guerrero, and Hoppie Cantwell taught so well, that when it was time to review, we all had it. It is impossible to explain these thick books in a matter of 30 hours. But they succeeded! And I passed with flying colors. Mike Crowley, the SABOR director, was my hero through these 6 weeks. I have a back problem and Mike was so kind that he accommodated me with a soft comfortable chair. Also, he went out of his way to connect with the students. I truly believe that is an incredible indication of a great director. The office staff is extremely helpful. Jack, my other hero, would bring me the chair. I can not lift anything heavy, and Jack lifted the chair like nothing! Faith was always had a sweet and friendly face, ready to answer any questions I had. Needless to say, I would highly recommend San Antonio Board of Realtors to anyone who would like to get their career started in the right direction. When I wanted to stop the courses all together due to my backache, migraines, and nausea, SABOR accommodated me with all the help I needed to get to my goal! And for that I am extremely grateful!
