I went to Alamo Orthodontics for a free consultation. Being a senior, I had some trepidation since orthodontics is mostly for younger people but I was immediately made to feel welcome and at ease. Here is my account of the experience for whoever may be interested: The office is bright and friendly and comfortable. After a very short wait, Michelle called me for my interview. She patiently listened to my complaints and concerns and even to my childhood stories. She answered my questions thoroughly. She then took a set of X-rays which were shortly displayed in the examining room on a big screen. Dr Reese then came in and examined the X-rays and my teeth and made his diagnosis and recommendations for treatment. There were models to demonstrate the several treatment options. Michelle then took care of setting me up for treatment. I cannot think of any way my experience could have been better. The initial evaluation was indeed free and it was thorough, including X-rays. And in a few weeks I will start my treatment and I'll look like a kid in braces! read more

Man the idea of getting braces and fixing my smile was a daunting one. I knew it had to be done and finally booked an appointment at Alamo Orthodontics. Dr. Reece was my ortho and I cant say enough about his professionalism and how he helped me get comfortable with the idea of braces at 30 years old. I was recently visiting family in Alamogordo and I was very concerned about my son's teeth. Dr Reece knew that he was not going to be able to keep my son as a patient and he knew that we were just traveling through. The front desk ladies were extremely nice and understanding and they booked as an apppointment right away. I was extremely impressed by how willing he was to take the time to look at my son knowing full well that he was never actually going to be our orthodontist. I have been with this office for about a year and my experience hasn't been anything short of amazing. Everyone is so easy to talk with and they address any question that I have. The Dr. always gives me a clear plan and explains when adjustments need to be made and why. I walk away understanding what is taking place with the braces process.
