Well mine's been into Cross Street Garage for all three in the last couple of months and yes, it has cost me significantly, but the friendly, honest and thorough mechanics there are the main reason I returned again and again. Terry, who runs the garage, is very open and up front about what they do: "We don't fit cheap parts" is his mantra, so you know that although you'll be paying a bit more than expected, it's much cheaper than going to a dealership for a service or alternatively buying cheap parts somewhere and therefore buying twice when they ultimately fail. They picked up on minor issues that should have been fixed in the four previous services I'd had at another garage, such as the headlights being wrongly aligned and the cabin air filter behind the glove box having never been replaced - it was full of grime. Fully recommend these guys for the peace of mind of knowing your car will run at it's absolute best.

Any car repair is going to cost and yes the guys use the best parts possible rather than cheap alternatives but i am happy to pay a few quid extra for a top quality job by people who are telling me the truth and not just trying to rack up extra costs. It is now sitting in their garage for yet another week. No courtesy calls to let us know how it's going and when we can expect it back. I am not sure how they sell any cars when this is how they treat their customers. will never purchase from them again and I highly recommend you don't as well. AVOID at all costs.

I just wish Vauxhall were as good as Mollards for months i had issues with my car throwing up an airflow meter fault which Vauxhall main dealer couldn't fix, fortunately for me Mollards could as they traced the fault to the ecu which they they then replaced , now at this point im thinking mega bucks to repair but they managed to find working second hand unit with key chip transponder etc for just £75 ( main dealer £500+) they kept me informed throughout and talked through the options before carrying out any work. Since then i have used them for all my service & repair needs as have the rest of my family. The guys at the garage aren't your usual grease monkey spanner throwing muppets either they are fully trained techs that know their stuff, they are polite courteous at all times.My only negative comment is that they are based 40+ miles away but i think it speaks volumes about them if im prepared to drive all the way to Cheshire to get the service i want. 10/10
