I needed a new home inspected. He gave me a report alright but with all kinds of shortcuts despite…read moremy instructions. I find major surprises today on walk through. -I told him to get on the roof to inspect, never did. See later. -He had to inspect the crawl space, god knows what he did in there. Commented on two pipes laying around. Never took a picture or comment about the furnace. The damn thing is probably 5x3 feet. When I asked him where is the furnace,is it in the crawl space, 'yes its in the crawlspace. That's it. -I was concerned about a water stain above the fireplace. couldnt figure out. Just said the damper is wet. I walk in there is water in the fireplace and wood flooring is all warped. What did he do? Then I and the realtor walk out and from the ground we can see the chimney cap lifted off! Let alone climb on the roof, he never even looked up at the chimney even from ground level. He's a scam. If you hire him, you are on your own. My $379 was a flush into the toilet. I hope he rots in hell.
