I showed her two pictures of me with bangs so she could see the length and thickness I liked. She destroyed my hair. My bangs are thin and very uneven. A friend in another state who cuts hair said they look like a 5 year old cut them. I drove 45 mins to this appointment and it was a total disappointment.

Unfortunately, the experience left me disappointed, and I ultimately decided not to book an appointment. From the beginning, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable. The consultant I spoke with seemed to have an attitude toward both me and my partner, and throughout the consultation we felt like we were receiving dirty looks. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but the overall interaction made us feel unwelcome. I was also surprised by the recommendation to color my hair first and cut nearly half of it off afterward. I specifically asked whether the cut could be done beforehand to avoid using and paying for dye on hair that was going to be removed, but I was told no. Given how much hair I wanted taken off, this didn't make sense to me and ultimately resulted in a price that I felt was unnecessarily high. I was excited to try a new stylist, so it was disappointing to leave feeling uncomfortable and like I wasn't being listened to. I completely understand that salons have their own processes and pricing, but I also believe clients should feel comfortable asking questions and discussing options without feeling judged. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won't be returning or recommending this salon.
