Looking for something to do on our final night in Fairbanks, my husband found Alaska Axe and made us a reservation. When we arrived, we were the only people there but by the time we left there were several other groups partaking in axe throwing. The space is a warehouse, so social distancing and all necessary COVID precautions can easily be taken. The owner was extremely kind and engaging, going over the safety measurements as well as how to properly throw an ax. We had an absolute blast! There is a binder that lists a variety of games you can play and the hour flew by. This is definitely something I would come do on a regular basis if I lived in the area. read more

Stopped by the Alaska Axe Co location in Fairbanks on Saturday 25 Nov with family around 1:30pm. All the lanes were open except the last which was occupied by a group of three who saw us walk in. Nobody at the front desk. Waited for a while. Decided to call the business, maybe they were busy in the back. No answer. Waited some more, called again, no answer. After waiting some more I started to walk down to see if I could see someone. One of the young ladies left the group and met me. She said "If I could wait five minutes she would come and take care of us." She wanted us to wait while she finished her game. I declined and said we will go somewhere else. We went to the UAF Museum and had a great time. My family and I have been to the Alaska Axe Co in Fairbanks before and had an awesome time. This is the first review I've ever done because this is the absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced or seen in my life. Won't be return any time soon, if ever. read more

This is such a great place to go have some fun and stay out of the cold. I went with a group of friends and had a blast. Caitlin made sure to show us how everything was done and even got us lanes upstairs where there was an oversized Jenga set, a bean bag toss game and a couch to sit down on in between rounds. This spot is classy and fun! If you're apprehensive due to covid, the lanes are spread out so that you are still social distancing. The service was great and is such a cool date spot!
