I brought my own mat but my famil was visiting and didnt have any, but the studio graciously provided mats for them and props for everyone with no additional charge. We had a great time. It was relaxing, stress releasing, and also a bit of a workout. The instructor was excellent - not pushy, allowed you to work at your level but also provided help if you were struggling. It was a wonderful way to end my week and I definitely plan on going back again.

I am currently doing the 21-day Lululemon Yoga Challenge and I can tell a difference from the day one I did the session. They have Lululemon apparels, Ski equipments and various outdoor equipments. Trax is a pretty popular yoga place just plan ahead of time on what session you're planning to attend--It can get crowded easily. Arrive 15- 20minutes early of each session to get settled. They have their app you can download that makes everything easier to reserve on what class you're planning to attend. Somehow we all found places to put our mats and everyone fit perfectly. I was able to see the front even though I was in the very back row, and I didn't accidentally hit my partner's with my legs and hands. One thing I really loved about this place was the little coasters they hand out. One side has a beautiful flower and says "assist" and the other side is not as colorful. You can flip the coaster to notify the instructor if you would like her to assist or be 100% hands off. Assist means anything from helping you with a pose, aligning you, placing pressure for a deeper stretch, or even massages! They have mats and props for everyone to use and they are all in great shape. The entire experience was relaxing and amazing. I was on cloud 9 for the rest of the day and I am seriously considering attending some of their workshops or getting a punch card. I would 100% recommend this place for both beginners and experienced yogis alike!

Jacie and Morganne are both fantastic instructors that help guide you through your flows and provide adjustments when needed. Flows are well thought out and offer challenging options for those who want them. Fairbanks Yoga uses an app available to download in the App Store. It's super easy to use and you can purchase punch cards and sign up for classes all from your phone. I'd recommend getting to the studio 10-15m early to stake out a good spot and stretch a bit before class. Fairbanks Yoga has set the bar pretty high for yoga studios in my book!

The Alaska Club - Terrible Customer Service and Dishonest Practices…read more My experience with The Alaska Club has been nothing short of awful. Their customer service is unprofessional, relentless, and completely dismissive of member requests. After signing up, I was repeatedly called by their sales rep--even after telling them multiple times to stop contacting me. It got so bad that I eventually had to block their number. When I joined, I signed a contract stating I would pay $76 for my first month and had a two‑week trial period before committing to a year‑long membership. The agreement clearly stated that if I canceled within those two weeks, I would receive my $76 back. I canceled well within that window. What followed was four months of emails and phone calls just trying to get the refund I was promised. I finally received the $76, only to check my account later and see that they had taken it back. After everything, they still pulled the money from my account. This business operates with misleading practices and zero accountability. The constant calling, the runaround, and the refund fiasco make it clear that they do not value their members at all. Do not join. And if you're already a member, leave now.
