Most of the dryers work fine, including all of the dryers along the back wall. Roughly 30% of the overhead lights are out of order, some are damaged beyond repair. A code is required to use the restroom, obtained by texting the staff via a posted number. The restroom was clean and well stocked. $3.00 for a basic wash is a good value for Juneau. Dryers are a bit pricier: 50 cents for the first two minutes, 25 cents for each additional two minutes, which comes to $4.00 for 30 minutes. The business needs to repair or replace what is a significant percentage of their machines. That being said, the available machines work well, and the establishment is clean. The historic photos of Juneau on the walls are a nice touch. A parking lot is provided.

Angle of camera is a reflection from outside in my opinion as we sat and watched the entire cycle square on and it did not suds up. (We checked the liquid container throughout the wash cycle and it was still same level). Mgmt refunded only 1-wash who partially listened, talked fast and I could barely get a word in. Expressed I didnt agree w his camera and he walked away. One regular washing machine worked.

I had to wait for someone who was in at 7 am. The washers are ok performance wise, but smell moldy because people don't let the doors open to air dry. ***the biggest surprise -the dryers. It costs 25cents/minute for the 2 big dryers, while the smaller ones will charge 25 cents for the first 2 min, then 25 cents for 3 additional minutes. The dryers say 25, but the surprise is total. $10 wasn't enough to dry 2 loads of clothes. I left with dump things, because I didn't had enough money with me.

Good points: the counter staff is nice and they have your clothes ready when they say they will. The prices are reasonable too, especially considering they have no competitors. The bad news is that they damage a pretty high percentage of the clothes you entrust them with. Ruined or missing buttons are most common, but they also wet washed a jacket I brought in for dry cleaning and had the nerve to attach a note claiming I had insisted on not dry cleaning it. My rough estimate is that about one item in twenty gets some form of damage here but, Murphy's Law being in effect, the item damaged will be the most valuable or favorite thing you bring in. They are fine for items you can handle being harmed but don't drop off anything you care a lot about.
