He left to get more information and then it was my turn. I gave her everything and explained the situation and she started to prepare the 2016 tax return right away. The lady was really nice and is going through a similar situation of my relative ailed of. My heart went out to her. All in all I was in and out in a half hour and it cost me $59. One downside is I didn't see any dancing foam statues of liberty. That would have made my day.

I gave her a call because I have no idea what I'm doing this year as my circumstances have greatly changed and I'm super lost and in need of someone to help me. I had absolutely planned on PAYING her, I did just ask what she typically charges considering I have always used turbotax. Apparently she did not like that I have used turbotax and dismissed me IMMEDIATELY telling me no matter what price she tells me I won't use her and so she won't be giving me a price, and told me goodbye. Absolutely floored by her lack of professionalism and I cannot believe anybody would ever suggest using her. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. And Megan- I am a young girl who just moved to Alaska and am very stressed out. Maybe have a little more compassion.

She charged me an obnoxious amount for her services for filling in the blanks on a TurboTax like website the exact way I have filled out in the past! Next year I'm going to take my taxes back into my own hands and do it myself! Totally disappointed!
