My daughter and her friend were made to feel extremely uncomfortable--being closely followed around the store, repeatedly asked if they needed help, and even questioned about the bracelets she was wearing, as if she might have stolen them. Seriously? I went back to the store to speak with the manager, but no one seemed interested in having a real conversation. When I asked the employee who had followed the girls why she was doing so, she admitted it was because they looked "suspicious." That's not just unprofessional--it's unacceptable. It's disheartening to support a small business only to have your kids profiled and treated this way. I hope they take a hard look at how they treat their customers, especially young ones who are trying to shop independently and respectfully.

My daughter's dress arrived right on time and we met the seamstress to make the alterations a few days ago. She chose a long dress that had to be cut short, which I was hesitant about it because it seemed complicated. The store's seamstress is a dress maker and she's prompt and professional, my daughter had very specific directions for how she wanted the dress to fit and that was all handled with ease. The skit was cut right there in the store and pinned so my daughter could see exactly how it would look and she could adjust it if she didn't like it. Everyone who works there is caring, honest (they won't tell you it looks good just to make a sale) and they really want you to love the dress you choose for your event. I cannot say enough good things about this store, my daughter is SO excited about her jr prom dress that she cannot wait for the big night!!! When we left the store, she couldn't stop smiling because she was so happy. We'll be back for senior prom, thank you!
