When I asked the employee who had followed the girls why she was doing so, she admitted it was because they looked "suspicious." That's not just unprofessional--it's unacceptable. It's disheartening to support a small business only to have your kids profiled and treated this way. I hope they take a hard look at how they treat their customers, especially young ones who are trying to shop independently and respectfully.

The store's seamstress is a dress maker and she's prompt and professional, my daughter had very specific directions for how she wanted the dress to fit and that was all handled with ease. The skit was cut right there in the store and pinned so my daughter could see exactly how it would look and she could adjust it if she didn't like it. Everyone who works there is caring, honest (they won't tell you it looks good just to make a sale) and they really want you to love the dress you choose for your event. I cannot say enough good things about this store, my daughter is SO excited about her jr prom dress that she cannot wait for the big night!!! I turned on my heels and headed to the door but stopped at a rack or two and could not believe the prices for some of the items. $68 for a tank top (I don't recall the brand, but definitely not Gucci or Burberry) but c'mon. No need for me to return.
