Since discovering this gentleman and his repair shop not long ago I have been bringing both of my…read morevehicles to him for repairs. This review just reinforces my previous review. Kenta Bond, the owner of this shop is a man of high integrity. He also is a master of customer service. I call him a dinosaur because, even though he is a rather young person, he provides "old time" customer service. His pricing is extremely competitive - better than many - and he truly cares about his customers. The other day he stayed late to make sure my car repair was complete. It was not a simple repair. The car needed an axle. The parts supply house was very late getting him the needed part so Mr. Bond actually got in his car and went to the supply house and picked up the part himself. That pushed the repair completion time back. However, Mr. Bond stayed about an hour past usual closing time to get the job done for me. He does high quality work and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Please help support this small local business. He needs the support far more than the big chain repair shops in the area and his price markups are far less than theirs!

My Toyota dealer…read more(doesn't matter which because they all stink equally) during my free routine service told me I needed new tires and quoted me a high number. Went to Labarges. They told my nope. My tires were good. Another routine service. The dealer said I needed new brakes. Labarges agreed, but half as expensive. Most recently. My fan was making a weird noise so I thought they might cover the repair since I was at 40k miles, just outside the warranty of course. They also noticed my state inspection was overdue. Had to pay the dealer a $189 "diagnostic fee" to discover it was just acorns clogging a filter so I needed a need filter and of courses the acorns removed. $21 for state inspection which is failed because I didn't realize this, but I had two chipped taillights (my daughter is 17 and I'll leave it at that) so I'm $250 into the dealer and they tell me it's another $700+ to repair the taillights. So I stop at Labarges. They tell me to go to a junk yard or eBay and order a left inner and a right outer tail light and they'll pop them in for me. $155 on eBay brand new. And I happened to have a slow leak so they said that the sensor is starting to go, it he cleaned it up, but the aluminum sensors are garbage so they wanted me I'll likely need to replace them eventually. Charge to replace the headlights, cleanup sensor, and repair slow leak. $50 because it took them 30 minutes to do all that work. They charge you for the time they spend. A novel thought no? For anyone looking for a mechanic, why go anywhere else? They saved me over $1,000 on my most recent visits from what the dealer wanted to charge me.

Lia found half a dozen things "wrong" they were so graciously happy to "fix". Things like a supposed corroded fuel pump, worn brake pads (which I just recently had replaced, and on and on. I said no thanks, and a couple of weeks later took the car to Warren Tire for an oil change. I asked them to run through the list while I was there. Guess what? Warren Tire said NOTHING on the list needed fixing. They could have charged me an arm and a leg and I'd never have known. I love these guys.

Dan is a great guy who knows what he is talking about, and his mechanics are pretty knowledgeable and kind as well. As a young woman who doesn't know much about cars, I'm always afraid of getting scammed and up-charged; with my luck some other numbnut mechanic out there would try to convince me to buy their "premium air"... I've been going to Grand Premier tires for decades, and I am pleasantly surprised that they've…read moregotten so popular that I was not able to get my tires from them this year. People arrive hours before they open and sit in a car and wait to be one of the first ones in. There are no scheduled appointments, and it's first come first served, with the busiest seasons being in the spring and fall, as individuals swap their tires between summer and winter. What makes them special is the selection of tires, pricing, and the quality of work. They set the proper torque on the lug nuts, allowing for an emergency, roadside, tire replacement, and they inflate tires to the correct pressure. It's sad that most shops can't do the two above things. The other thing to keep in mind is that Grand Premier doesn't do alignments, but they do have a place nearby that they recommend.
