Sal is wonderful to work with as he responds to my emails and texts. I tried contacting 4 different landscapers in the early spring and Sal responded and came out with a day or two. We set up a time and date to have the work done and they came out as scheduled on time, and got to work right away- ripped up what was left of my yard with weeds, the spread new soil and laid out new sod in a very reasonable time which I was very pleased with. They offered tips and a follow up as to how to maintain my new lawn and with all the added rain these last few weeks my lawn looks great again. I ACCEPTED being put on a wait list and waiting 3 - 4 weeks. Unfortunately, I was never contacted again. At the end of the day, you CAN control one thing. YOU CAN... Call a customer to let them know that due to whatever reason(s) you will not be able to service them, instead of making them wait several weeks on end for a call back. You can either make excuses, or you can take accountability by communicating. I previously ran a business, and I fully understand the importance of this. It is not difficult. There is a $50 fee for landscape design which is due prior to them starting. The money would then be deducted off of the work if I decided to have it done. I'm not with them talked about plans and I gave them a $50 check for my landscape design. After a few weeks I'll be waiting to hear them back with the quote and the landscape design I gave them a call. They said they'll get back to me. I waited some more time. I still did not hear back from them. So I called them again. At this call I asked them for my money back because they had not even started on the design despite having multiple weeks to start on it. They said that they would mail me back the check. After two weeks I had still not received the check and called them again. At that point in time they said oh yeah we dropped in the mail two days ago. I told them that if I did not have the check in my mailbox by Friday then they would need to re-issue it. I already perceived there will be a problem... stay tuned for part two of my review. Would I recommend DLT Brothers Professional Services to someone for any type of service, heck no!
