They are always updating and changing things around for the better. Its spacious, bright, clean, and just lifts my mood to go there. In fact, I am going right now-- by the way I am not a natural fit for the gym -- over 60 with too many years of planning to go "tomorrow".

After getting dumped by my girlfriend around January while recuperating from my quadriceps tendon…read morerupture, I've decided to sign up at this gym so I could channel my anger in a positive direction. Best decision I made thus far this year. In spite of my injury, I've been motivated and just now starting to see positive results. This gym has been around for a long time now. It's very big with plenty of amenities and exercise equipment. The equipment to me seems to be maintained well. In the event that a particular exercise machine is out of order, maintenance will place a work order and expected due date that the machine will be operating properly again. As far as treadmills are concerned, this gym has a variety of brands. Plenty of treadmills to go about using so wait times are never really much of a concern except during peak hours. Due to the extent of my injury, I'm not capable of running anymore so I now primarily use the stationary bike and elliptical for my cardiovascular needs. The bikes are good, but unfortunately all of the ellipticals are of the Precor brand. I wish that this gym had the Life Fitness brand as well. I prefer Life Fitness ellipticals because it has better hand placement in relation to my body. Obviously I can't speak on the women's locker room, but the men's is generally clean. Through the locker room you can access the sauna, steam room, and a little whirlpool area. The sauna and steam rooms are a little small but still sufficient. There used to be a pool access but they have now closed it down for good in favor of additional exercising space (which I feel is unnecessary). This is a good gym. At only $30.00 per month (not including tanning) you'll get your money's worth. The only thing that I don't really like about this gym are the rather inconsistent and confusing hours. Mon-Thu it is open from 4:30 a.m.-11:00 p.m., Fridays: 4:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m., Saturdays: 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., and Sundays from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Now get your butt off of that couch and start lifting :)

The manager also needs significant improvement in communication and conflict resolution, as she mishandled a simple payment inquiry, escalating it unnecessarily contacting police. As a loyal member who promotes the benefits of fitness and actively encourages others to join Planet Fitness, I never expected to be humiliated and judged in a place that advertises itself as a "Judgment-Free Zone." Every morning, I record myself while working out--not others, just myself--to motivate people to get out of bed and improve their health. Today, I was abruptly asked to leave the gym because another member falsely claimed I was recording them. Let me be clear: I have the video, and it proves I was only filming myself. Instead of addressing the situation fairly and with common sense, your staff chose to embarrass and single me out, treating me like a criminal or someone with bad intentions. It was insulting and degrading. You allowed someone's baseless complaint to derail my workout and ruin my day, all while failing to uphold the judgment-free atmosphere you claim to provide. Here are my demands: 1. Implement Clear Policies: Where is the policy that prohibits video recording? There are no signs or notices in your gyms about this, and it is unacceptable for members to be blindsided by arbitrary enforcement of unwritten rules. 2. Train Your Staff: Your staff needs serious training on how to handle member concerns. Instead of jumping to conclusions and humiliating loyal members, they should approach situations professionally and discreetly. 3. Stand by Your Mission: If Planet Fitness is truly a "Judgment-Free Zone," then prove it. What I experienced today was the complete opposite. I was judged, accused, and made to feel like I didn't belong--all because of someone else's misunderstanding. This situation is unacceptable, and I won't stand for it. You need to rethink how you handle complaints and implement real changes, or you'll lose the trust of members like me who genuinely value fitness and community. I expect a prompt response outlining the steps you will take to ensure this doesn't happen again--not just to me but to anyone else who walks through your doors. I'm not asking for special treatment; I'm demanding fairness and respect. If you truly care about your members and your brand's reputation, you'll take this matter seriously. Sincerely,
