They are two of the most respectful contractors and are just really honest and go those extra steps. They rescued some toys that I could never reach, and even dusted the ledge too. Hey, I am short lol! I even surprised them with some outlet swapping and he tested some outlets that made me nervous! They did a beautiful job and were so nice the whole time and did the job quickly and perfectly. I would hire this company to do any electrical job. I know they all do other home improvements as well. I asked him if he had a business card as I was from New Jersey and had just bought a house in Clermont Florida and may need some work done. The gentleman turned out to be Juan Velez. I needed blinds installed (13) and I had just set up a date with Lowe's to have someone come and measure for installation. Unfortunately the contractor from Lowe's soonest appointment was in a week and a half they would measure and then set up a date later for the installation. I was pressed for time and needed to return to New Jersey in a few days. When I found out the Lowe's contractor could not come earlier I contacted Juan the day after I met him. I told Juan what I needed and he set up an appointment to come measure the windows the next day as he was working in the area. Long story short, Handyman complete services measured and installed all the blinds a couple of days before the other contractor could come out to just measure the windows. Handyman needed some other materials and charged them to their account and provided me with a receipt. I was blown away by the professionalism and quality of work done in a very short period of time and would not hesitate to recommend them. Within 48 hrs, it was determined that the drain hose from our dishwasher (which is housed in the middle of a long island) had been leaking. We have wood floors throughout our home, and the water had traveled several feet under the island, causing extensive damage before it made itself evident. I called hardwood floor specialists, general contractors, and AB Floors & Restoration. NOBODY was as equipped to resolve EVERY aspect of this problem as was AB Floors & Restoration. Not only do they have the technical expertise to dry out the wood, remove water, restore floors and cabinets (among other things), but they also have the business acumen to ensure that the process is seamless. They even handle communication with the insurance company. Ronald, one of the owners, explained his expertise in this area and requested to speak with the insurance adjuster directly. He handled the initial visit with the adjuster at our home, and everything Ronald recommended was approved immediately. There were no surprises in the form of additional fees as the job got going. AB is a family business. The owners are present and very responsive. It is obvious that any subs needed are carefully selected excellent craftsmen. I cannot imagine the amount of stress we would have endured had we done this any other way. Without AB Floors, we would have had to hire several different kinds of specialists (i.e. flooring, plumbing, cabinetry, painting, etc.), leaving ourselves in charge and holding the bag whenever something went wrong or when the various specialists bumped into one another. I live in Orange City I wanted to shop local, I had read other reviews and this company has been in business since 1973 and finally the price was fair. Shawn O'Quinn came out and discussed my concerns and came up with an agreement based on my roof project. We were very concerned the roof would exceed the contract amount and actually it did but they honored the contract price. The roof replacement process....imagine a swarm of bees starting at seven am and ripping the shingles off like locust going through a cornfield. If you watch it's rather messy but each roofing person was so professional and any concerns I had faded due to their experience and professionalism. The best part the roof is - it's finished and it is more beautiful than I expected. Every soft spot replaced repaired and perfect.
