I took notes during the quote and have no doubt about what was said. Beyond the pricing issue, the work was subpar: He completely skipped a large section of one deck. He did not power wash the back side of the garage. He failed to move furniture or other items out of the way, instead washing around them. Several small plants were killed by careless water blasting. Unfortunately, I did not get the quote in writing, so I'll pay the invoice -- but I'm left frustrated, disrespected, and extremely disappointed. I would not recommend his services to anyone.

When the quote was developed, the work was clearly explained; they even went so far as to see if the new tanks that we wanted to get would fit through the hallway/doorways by bringing the size tank that we wanted and doing a "test run". When the work was completed , the TankWorks team was on time, completed their work in a thorough manner, left the work area clean and even noticed on their way out that a marble threshold had been accidentally broken (which they noted will be fixed). Many years ago, the oil tank in my parents' house leaked a significant amount of oil before the leak was discovered. Even after repairs were made, they never got that oil smell out of their house. If you are at all on the fence relative to having the tanks in your house replaced, my advice would be to do it and hire the folks from TankWorks! The money you spend now will be less than the money involved to remediate an oil leak as well as the likely decline in your house value caused by an oil odor that won't ever go away.
