These folks were great! Super friendly, handled everything with care, and made moving way less stressful.

These guys are really dishonest. I spent around $2000 for this move and am now stuck with more in DAMAGES than that. I am really disappointed with this company. There were supposed to be 3 guys working (at $210/hour) but a lot of the time one of them was just hanging out, eating KFC etc, and chatting me up. And the other 2 took quite a few breaks and broke some of my stuff, and didn't tell me. After the job was done, I was walking around and noticed so many damages.. including to a brand new (expensive) coffee table and end table that I have, painting frames, they broke off a leg of a table I have for work, they broke the gate mechanism at my new place, there's now damage inside my new house near the front door, I could go on... The "boss" guy insisted that I pay, he said otherwise HE would have to pay for the job (as if), was argumentative and made me pay about $2000 and told me to follow up with management. It was a super unprofessional and uncomfortable experience. I reached out to the guy he told me to the next day, and basically within a few days was offered some money (that did not even come close to the damages done) as long as I sign a "promissory note" saying that I would not post a negative review/ share my actual experience with anyone. Which felt totally unethical, manipulative, and gross. I don't know what else to say here other than DON'T hire these guys. read more

There was no hidden costs which I've experienced with moving companies before. They worked efficiently and helped me navigate a very stressful time in my life. When I called and asked for 2 men and a truck for my move because I was leaving the furniture for the pros but not getting what I was told by dispatch in Edmonton, is something else. 1 MAN, 1 WOMAN to move my heavy furniture. My dresser and hi-boys ars now damaged and needing to be replaced. The driver wanted to walk into the house with ice spikes on his feet. (I have wood floors). They took more breaks that moving. I am pretty sure the female smoked a full pack of smokes and had lots of stories to talk about there employees and lack of pay. When it was time to pay they profiled me as a person who couldn't pay the move. Service was shit and even stopping to waste time for the office. My 3 hr move took 7 hr because of their workmanship, beware of this company as they will try to intimidate you.The biggest issue is not paying attention or caring for your property. As a moving company they should retire from it. read more

I had a small, 2-person, empty Spaberry hot tub, weighs about 300 lbs, that I needed moved about 40 ft. in my back yard, no stairs involved. This company has a minimum 3 hour call-out, so I had to pay just over $600 for this. The move itself took 3 guys about 5 minutes. In this time, they dropped my hot tub, cracking it in at least 4 places. These cracks are on the outside of the tub and are over a foot long each, vertical, but once the temperature changes outside, they will split, just like a cracked windshield in the cold, and the hot tub won't hold water anymore. I cannot find anyone who fixes cracks in acrylic. I hired a "professional" moving company so something like this wouldn't happen. This company offered me $175 for the damage. I can't even get it hauled away to the dump for that. They destroyed my property and refuse to take responsibility for it. Do not hire these people, they don't know what they're doing. read more

Yes My complaint is not with the move itself but, they worked hard and moved at a good pace. they were polite and friendly. My complaint is that I was very clear when booking them and asked for all the costs up front as I have been burned before with movers not being honest about the cost. I was told $300 an Hr. flat rate and a min of 3 Hrs. The move took exactly 3 hrs which should have been $900 but at the end the guys that did the moving said they had to bring the truck from Blackfalds AB. so for travel time there and back it would be an additional $300. I was never informed of this when I asked for all costs upfront and the address on the web site says Red Deer. quote from web site "Our Red Deer movers are proud to service the good people of Red Deer." So why was I charged an additional $300 to bring the truck from Blackfalds!! I hate the dishonesty with moving companies about cost especially when you are on a tight budget!! I find this shady and unprofessional to do to people on a tight budget that already are stressed from all the to do's and other costs of a move. so for that reason I give a 2 star rating. I am moving again and would have used them again had they been honest upfront with the costs, but I am going with Discount movers who gave me a written quote binding up front with all costs. I was looking forward to posting a really great review. The two guys who arrived worked fast and were very pleasant, so we didn't supervise and they left with a nice healthy tip ($40) but we noticed after they forgot one coffee table. I did call the office immediately and I was grudgingly told the truck was too full which surprised me, but they would come back after their next job, and I'd have to pay extra, which I did agree to. Unfortunately, when I went into the back of our rented Uhaul truck, I saw unsupported glass desktop panels being used as support, and very poor stacking. I asked my neighbour for help and we unloaded the truck ourselves, repacked it as best as we could, freed up more than a quarter of bed space, even with the forgotten large coffee table put in. The manager/dispatcher really wasn't interested in a happy customer. read more
