This location was near where we were staying while visiting Elko. The store shares a common parking lot that is surrounded by many different stores, restaurants, and businesses. We were eating at another establishment in the parking lot for lunch and needed to get a couple of grocery items afterward. It was an easy walk across the parking lot to the store. There are two entrances to choose from, and the standard grocery store set up with produce, bakery, isles of products, etc. We searched through the store, but they didn't have what we were looking for, so we opted to leave and look elsewhere. Probably the cleanest grocery store I've ever been in. Friendly staff and had everything I needed on my drive to Utah.

The store has been remodeled, and is one of the cleanest grocery stores in Eastern Nevada. Service is excellent, people constantly stocking the aisles. Only bad thing is they still don't know how Albertsons Pay works. Otherwise, this is one of the best-run stores out of Safeway/Albertsons. read more

I went in tonight for the third time. The first two times I put things back or didn't even pick them up because they were just too expensive compared to the other stores in town that I like. Smith's and Raley's. Well I went in tonight thinking it's close and I can just get a few things. Water and Kombucha.....NOPE. Kombucha was $3.99 here! $3.99 for one bottle!! When at other places I can get it 2 for $5? Nope. The one time I did buy something I bought a Grapefruit. I thought the price was $1.50 a lb but I guess the $1.50 meant EACH!! Wow...sticker shock for this little grapefruit...but it really did hit the spot my drink that night in my room. The store seems to have really friendly people and that is a positive. Some long time employees and I do like that. But the layout is very dated and the place doesn't seem to have good organization. The best section is probably the deli section up near the front of the store. Tonight I saw a bunch of chocolate covered strawberries for Easter I guess. Anyway...even though this place is closest to the hotel I am residing in...I probably wont go back. Too bad because it's actually within walking distance. read more

The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. I shop here quite often and every time i come here its like they have never cleaned the bathroom. More than half the time thw toilet paper isn't even in the holders! read more

The customer service was.. strange. They just seemed like they didn't wanna be there (understandably, I wouldn't wanna be either!) Anyways, my boyfriend bought some vodka and it was literally WATER. No alcohol in it at all. Super strange. When we called to fix the situation (we knew it wouldn't get fixed), they said we had to wait for the manager. I don't know what I expected really, but I won't be going back because they didn't seem to care if we did or not. read more

Albertsons store drive in Elko Nevada the address is 2582 Idaho Street Elko Nevada 89801 I had two cans of coffee that we're ready to drink I asked the employee that works in Starbucks telling me which one was stronger she said she couldn't leave the job because they were still open that wasn't a problem so I went back and I got the two cans and I was asking about it and she was on the phone with the manager saying that I made her feel uncomfortable and in the manager Ann was insinuating that I was harassing the young employee that was working in the Starbucks and that is 100% the manager Ann I'm going to try make me look bad can I ask her if I can talk to her in private and have a two-party conversation and she said no she didn't feel comfortable and then the other employee the manager of the Starbucks was following the manager Ann and she was standing close enough so she could hear the entire conversation the manager Ann is a very shady to face person that will go to her way to screw somebody over I would recommend not going to the store and spending your money there are two other stores in Elko Nevad Smith's Smith's food King and raley's there is only one employee working in this Albertsons grocery store that is nice and polite her name is Shelby she's very helpful and a nice person one of the few people that this grocery store has hired that is doing an amazing job Ann the manager is a terrible person and the manager in the Starbucks a woman she is a terrible person and both of these two managers should be fired read more

Typically I don't mind places not making me happy with their services, but this really rubbed me wrong. early this morning I had called the bakery department to place an order (3 baker's dozens) so that I could pick them up around 5:15 pm (for work purpose). I was told that would be fine and I could pickbyby Yet when I went to go pick up my order i was told they didn't have it written down or anything and I didn't even get a call to notify me they couldn't make my order. the only good part of this experience was the worker there that helped me with a great attitude, letting me know whoever accepted the order failed to let me know how much time they need to make an order, or that they couldn't accept it if it was less than a 24 hour notice. read more

I would not normally bother to review a grocery store unless there was something that stood out about it (either good or bad.) Stopped in to re-stock the car with snacks, milk, trail mix fixins' and some fresh produce, and MOST IMPORTANTLY a pint of ice cream. Apparently if you want ice cream in Elko you have to buy it at the grocery store and eat it in the car, because we searched this town high and low for an ice cream shop and came up empty-handed. The prior night in Buhl, Idaho, we were literally minutes late rolling into town to get ice cream, because we flagged down the Cloverleaf Creamery truck and the lady driving it told us she had just closed. And boy were we in need of some ice cream. Well we got it here, and it was cold and yummy. Got everything else on my list, although was a little sad to pay so much for dried fruits and nuts - nowhere near the selection of say, my house of worship, Trader Joe's, at twice the price even for house brand. So basically the same as any mainstream grocery store in America. Here's what stood out - my cashier - she was super nice - AND she packed my bag so beautifully! I haven't had my groceries packed so nicely in a long, long time (except at Trader Joe's - they always so a super job) and she didn't even abuse my produce. Come on. You know what I'm talking about - the "scan and throw" move that they all do - none of that here. I was pleased. read more

We stopped in for a bottle of wine and waters. The staff was very friendly as I was walking to the beverage aisle two people stopped to ask if I needed help finding anything. 2 large two-liter bottles were only $2 each! Great deal! Nice variety of wine I ended up getting a bottle of pretty good prosecco. Very easy to get to from the hotels too. We were staying at the Townplace suites and it was only a two minute drive. read more

Expensive but I like the store. Last August I bought 3 crates of their roasted Hatch chilis. Was told emphatically that the *medium* were the mild. I should have known better. They have been so hot we can't use them. So now I order directly from Hatch. read more

We got into town way too late to eat anything but fast food (which on our trip we tried to avoid for health reasons) so we decided to stop in here to get the pieces of a dinner so we could get the ole blood sugar back up to good levels. Nothing special about this, except the goofy checker who, appropo of nothing, kept chanting "TOMATOES ARE THE EXTREME" as she was checking out the people in front of us and then while she was checking us out as well. I finally figured out that apparently there is an "X-Treme Deal" each day or week(?) and there was a basket of little crates of tomatoes at the checkstand that we were supposed to buy out of impulse I guess. Anyway, TOMATOES ARE THE EXTREME became one of our slogans for the trip after that. read more

Remodeled recently and looks great. Some new displayed items in produce, seafood, meats and dairy. Produce much cleaner and more Organic options. Have always loved the butcher area! Their prices might be a bit higher on some items but they have good sales if you have a smart phone. read more

Some of their freezers aren't working correctly. They continue to sell bad food even after they've been informed. They have been rude about the issue. read more
