Don't expect them to have the items advertised on sale. And don't expect a rain check or any other form of accommodation for their shortcomings. In the state of New Mexico you can buy alcohol if your child is with you it's ridiculous that "some" of the workers demand a license of a minor or you cant purchase any alcohol. Always my "go to" store when I'm away from home. Albertsons is consistent with their pre-made foods. Their own brand is high quality too.

Out of this world selections! Great savings, no matter the cost. This supermarket does a pretty good job of serving the Roswell community. It's no HEB, but it's a good New Mexican place, with lots of local produce and merchandise. I came in looking for New Mexican food and stuff- I found some great coffees, lots of hot sauces, chiles, chile pods, canned chiles, and even Roswell souvenirs and embroidered patches of Roswell, NM aliens! Score! All of the souvenirs were way cheaper than the alien stores on Main Street, and often the same merchandise. The clerks were happy to help and were friendly and helpful. They had a pretty meager frozen food selection, but the produce made up for it. They have a lot of their own brand stuff, but none of it seems as inviting as the national brands. Day 1: I accidentally leave my ID and bank card @ Albertsons Day 2: I notice, call the store. "RICHARD" promises me that my cards are there and I can pick them up tomorrow, they will be waiting @ the help desk for me. Day 3: I get to the help desk. They tell me "WE SHREDDED THEM, YOU SHOULD HAVE COME IN YESTERDAY" Despite my special arrangements with "RICHARD".... No apology. Nothing. Just a big "F-you, buddy". I have been shopping @ Albertson's singe the early 90s, and have probably spent over $100.00 EVERY week of my life there, while not deployed out of country or something like that... RICHARD, you are a piece of work, brother. You either lied, or told me something against store policy and you need remedial training. Maybe you were just playing with me because you are bored at the moment or something? I left a complaint and got a case # and such from the call-in complaint number, but its been crickets. No e-mail reply, no call-back. Alberton's does not care. Not even to say, "Sorry we told you one thing, then did exactly the opposite of that thing". I accept I was a dummy for leaving the cards, but...don't make me a promise, then destroy my property (Actually your DL is property of the NM DMV, so they destroyed STATE property) You're fired as my grocer Alberton's for breaking a promise. I love Albertsons and have been a loyal weekly customer for over 20 years. Having great shopping experiences every time. Today I learned that the Albertsons app doesn't work for Albertsons market. There was a reward for a Starbucks drink and I ask before I ordered if the rewards worked, the Starbucks staff assisted me very nice but when it didn't apply to the purchase and the store shift worker was ask to put my money back on my credit card she was very rude. As we went to the customer service desk I apologized for having caused an issue and she very rudely stated I was just being difficult. EXCUSE ME? Audrianna was totally unprofessional and would cause me to think before I shop there again. Does she not understand that without customers she is unemployed? Wouldn't accept a return on damaged ice cream that I purchased from another Albertsons. They're the same company and was told by the other store I could return it to any store. Customer service was extremely rude and unprofessional. It's only $7 so I just left my damaged ice cream without a refund. I definitely won't be back though. read more

Well since Roswell is limited this is about as good as it gets. They have a Starbucks and that's a BIG plus! I have had a hard time finding some of the exotic fruits and veggies that we are so lucky to have in here in California but what they do have is good quality. The store is neat and clean. They also have one really Hott guy that works there. His name is Tony. He was very helpful and what a smile! Just talking to him made the trip to Albertsons well worth it :) read more

If money is no object, Albertson's is the place to shop in Roswell. If you need a specialized item, seafood, or anything a little on the exotic side, you'll find it here. I doubt it's any better or any different than any other Albertson's in the USA. The only problem is that you'll pay a hefty price for what you get, and there's a good chance that you'll have to spend about ten minutes waiting in line, or try checking the groceries out yourself. read more

Apparently some people "assume" carpaccio is a cut of meat, which it is not. It is a way in which raw beef or fish is prepared as a dish. Some people are just uneducated though in California I guess. Of course Albertson's is no Whole Foods Market but we live in a small community so what they have to offer is adequate. As for special ordering items, I place special orders for my home and restaurant quite often and I usually get my items the next day (3 days is the longest I have ever waited, not bad). All of NM is not desert. NM happens to be the dairy capital of the southwest so the milk should taste just fine. Also Roswell happens to house Leprino, which is the world's leading producer of mozzarella cheese. Albertson's may not be amazing but it has just about everything for just about everyone so no gripe here. They satisfy the majority of the community for all their shopping needs. For the gripers; Give it another shot and try to have a more positive attitude with less of the snob mentality. Save your big words for your friends and social groups where they will be better received. :D Good Day all! read more

The cashier had a very bad attitude she threw the sack of groceries & said here, the gentleman behind me she proceeded to throw his stuff down the conveyer belt.... This is one of the best Albertsons around. Where else can you get starbucks coffee and Albertsons brand vodka in the same building? The people are always nice and they have ample parking. Not much more one can ask for. read more

I just moved to Roswell and this is my third trip to this market. I have left all three times without making a purchase because they didn't have what I was looking for and I was unable to locate a person to assist me. The gentleman in the wine department was very helpful in trying to get me someone over to dairy to help. He even offered to come help me look. But he was clearly busy in his department and I opted to give up on this particular location. If I want this level of customer service I can shop at Wal-Mart for a lot less. read more

First visit to this store. Very clean and the staff were friendly. Did have a problem getting service in the bakery dept. The young lady was cleaning up and didn't want to acknowledge that we were there. I know she saw us but chose to ignore us. Veggies seemed fresh. read more

Wow! Nice revamp of the store! Check out the new sushi bar that was put in place a week ago. The rice was cooked to perfection, the fish delicate, and the amount of side ginger was just right. This visit just made Albertsons' my favorite grocery store and one stop shop! read more
