NEVER deal with this "business"! I recently purchased a used vehicle off of him, after I was promised by Gord himself and his mechanic that the car was '100% mechanically perfect' and that it wouldn't need ANYTHING for a safety..... I was also told by the mechanic that he looked the car over a couple days prior.... which obviously didn't happen, because on my drive home from Chesley to Owen Sound, the exhaust fell off the manifolds and a brake line blew. Oh ya, and he failed to inform me the car was sitting for a year.
That's not all of it. After fighting with the mechanic and Gord, I took the car to a different licensed shop to get a safety done........ not so easy.
$800 LATER!!!!!!!! Tie rods, ball joints, flex hoses and a few other issues.... for a car that needed nothing????? After I told Gord that I'm having financial problems and the car I was driving at the time was completely unsafe and he still takes advantage of a young woman.. sickening.
Its an absolute shame how he runs his business, and I've heard other horror stories from other people dealing with the same guy. Never again. Saddest part is..... I knew him personally before this happened. read more
