This has always been included in other places, and seemed to me that not including cuticle cutting in a dip powder manicure is just not doing a complete job and leaves the nails looking half done and unclean. Despite showing him a design I wanted, he insisted on doing French nails instead. If he couldn't do the design it was no big deal but just say that instead of trying to convince me to get the complete opposite of what I wanted. After politely declining and asking for someone else to do the design he repeatedly refused, claiming that nobody else could. In the end, he hastily applied a sloppy version of the design, and I paid $85 for subpar service. This was a stark departure from my usual positive experiences at the salon over the past three years. Tommy's behavior was unprofessional and rude, and unfortunately, it has soured my view of the salon.
