Please read this review before going here, do not get stuck with Tommy!! I recently visited the nail salon and had a disappointing experience with Tommy. Despite showing him a design I wanted, he insisted on doing French nails instead. If he couldn't do the design it was no big deal but just say that instead of trying to convince me to get the complete opposite of what I wanted. After politely declining and asking for someone else to do the design he repeatedly refused, claiming that nobody else could. In the end, he hastily applied a sloppy version of the design, and I paid $85 for subpar service. This was a stark departure from my usual positive experiences at the salon over the past three years. Tommy's behavior was unprofessional and rude, and unfortunately, it has soured my view of the salon. I won't be returning due to this, and I'm really sad and disappointed because I loved coming here. read more

I think I've had my nails done here by several nail techs but tend to go to Henry the majority of the time since he is used to what I like. However they are all very good! The owner Michele is amazing and really treats customers well. I wanted to update my review after having come here for about 2 years now (I think). This is the only nail salon in the area that I have visited as often and don't mind spending more on my nails as I know they're done right here. I have OCD so it is difficult for me to be satisfied which is why I never found a salon to be consistent with however thsalon never disappoints. Thank you guys. read more

All of my gel nails peeled off after 5 days, would not recommend. Everyone nice and helpful but would just try regular next time

While they did a good job with my nails and had a great variety of colors to choose from, I couldn't get over having to wait over an hour with an appointment. I scheduled an appointment for a dipped set at 5:30 PM and wasn't taken back to the seat until 6:30 PM, with no explanation or apology. I would suggest they don't take reservations if they don't have the ability to fulfill them. read more

Red nails just in time for Christmas! This was my first time at Dream Nails and Mary did a fantastic job for my dip manicure. She recommended this festive red color and I love it! My biggest pet peeve is if the nail artist makes the dip too thick and/or if any dip color gets left under or around the nails making it look sloppy. But no complaints here! It was my first time coming here and they did absolutely amazing. They did take me a little later than my set appointment time but I had no complaints because they did so good! I really wish I got the guys' name who did my nails but he was at table 1. I was charged $65 for full acrylic set, with an ombré design and with gel. I thought that was a pretty good/fair price. This location was initially okay. The service was okay at first. However one day instead of being able to schedule with my usual nail tech Michelle I was told to come in and someone else could help. I got my nails done by someone who looked newer and had less experience. They broke and cracked within 2 days. I decided to call and have the nail fixed however the staff started to get unprofessional and frustrated towards me that the nail broke. I was simply looking for a resolution as I've been to plenty of nail salons and they typically fix these things if the damage is done within the same week especially if it was their mistake. The staff continues to rush me off the phone and tells me to come in to get it fixed by Michelle. However once I arrive she isn't there and they offer no resolution. I left. It's really sad to see loyal customers treated in such a dishonest and disgusting way. My daughter brought me a gift certificate for Mother's Day to this location and that was a wanted gift. I would avoid this location as they aren't reliable , professional or courteous. When looking for a nail tech you do care about those things and want to trust you'll be on good hands. read more

By far the WORSE set I have ever had. I asked for almond shape & the older gentleman did circle shape. I'm not one to complain and pick in person so I just left it alone. The shape I can get over but after just half a week, I have lost THREE NAILS! Paid the guy 60 ($10 tip). Went to this place because of Yelp & def. will NOT be returning. Would not recommend. The older guy was also very rude... not talkative and not friendly. Update: As soon as I posted my review, I was immediately contacted by the owner to kindly come into the salon so that she could fix my nails free of charge. She alerted me of their two week guarantee policy and asked me to stop by as soon as possible so that she could take care of the problem. I will be honest and say that today was my second visit to the salon and each time... no matter the time or day.. evening or afternoon... the salon is always full & it seemed that each person that walked in... the owner knew them by name. Today was a pleasant experience. My nails were fixed in thirty minutes time and I do respect the way the owner handled the situation. She was very kind upon my arrival. She did not ask me to take the review down either. I'm big on customer service and I can honestly say that I appreciate the way this situation was handled. I now can and do recommend. My friend & I have been going to Dream nails for about two years now. We usually stop in monthly for a pedicure together, but I also go myself to get my nails done often & eyebrows waxed. Everyone who works here is really nice & they always make you feel welcomed. Michelle and her team go a great job and have really transformed with place with the remodeling they have done. Dream nails is very convenient for me, there is no issue with parking in this plaza, and weekdays they are open until 7. That gives me plenty of time to make it there after work. My only wish is that they offered you water or a beverage, as well as a shoulder massage, which I'd be willing to pay extra for. Poor customer experience as a walk-in. I was told when I arrived it would be 20 minute wait. Over an hour later, I was still waiting and they couldn't give me a time for when I would be served. I totally understand placing priority on appts vs walk ins, but don't waste a potential customers time if you can't do the service in a reasonable amount of time. I went in here last minute one day wanting to treat myself. They got me in a chair immediately for my pedicure-- no wait! The pedicure was pretty much your standard pedicure-- nothing made it stand out. They did a good job and had it reasonable priced for a gel pedi ($49). I was in and out in about 30 minutes. They did seem to have good COVID protocols in place, although I slightly cringed while sorting through the nail colors wondering if they had been sanitized. Would add another star if they were a bit friendlier when you walk in too, but overall good if you want to get in and out fast for a good price. read more

LOVE! my nails, Laura is the best (even though this was my 1st time here and not sure how good the others are) she was absolutely attentive to ALL my request, including my difficult design. She made me feel comfortable and didn't make any of my request seem impossible, she simply tried and succeeded VERY well at all of them. The pics show a design idea I got from Pinterest. Not pictures are my eyebrows of which she also did very good with. She arched them perfectly and was able 2 handle my multiple request with how I wanted them shaped. CASH tips are preferred (sorry my 1st time here and didn't know). VERY sanitary environment and the nail techs actually engage in convo with the clients. I have been to many nail spas in pittsburgh and this has to be the best. You don't need to pick a favorite nail tech because they are all amazing. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Also have never had any nail chipping with gel as I have had at other places. I highly recommend them. They also have chairs for kids as well. read more

My nail tech was completely apathetic and unfriendly toward me, but the worst was how they turned away several customers and told them they were closing soon and that the website and door hours were "wrong." My coffin style nails are shaped perfectly by Henry. Every time I go in there is stellar service. I was looking for a spot to get a pedi and my fellow Yelpers steered me here. Upon entering, I was greeted and asked what service I wanted. From there I went to the wall to select my polish. I opted for the Signature Pedicure which included tea tree oil exfoliation and warm towels. The person doing my pedicure, while polite, seemed very lax and, consequently, all efforts to exfoliate my skin just felt like "meh". There was no real "exfoliation" just a gentle brush of the bottom of my feet. The polish was pretty and he filed in the shape that I requested. The warm towel is always a nice touch that I love. They do need some additional ventilation or a fan because the chemical smell is a bit much. My experience here was just okay but nothing really has me wanting to go back. read more

I've been getting my nails done biweekly-ish for 15 years almost, and have been all over the place. Michelle & team are the best! My favorite part is that for once, I don't have to worry who I'm going to get as my nail tech when I walk in. They are ALL good if you ask me. Debbie, Laura, Henry, etc, it literally doesn't matter. Even when they hire someone new, I'm never worried about it because the standards are high. Therefore, I don't feel the need to make an appointment. All in all it takes the stress off. Oh, and the remodeled salon was a really nice touch in the last year or so. They did a beautiful job! Also, ownership in a nail salon is a very big deal to me. I have gone to Dream Nails on and off for 20 years but every time I go lately the service gets worse and worse. They are more worried about how many people they can get in and out than quality work.
