So I used to go to one woman who only works Monday and Tuesday. unfortunately, I haven't been able to go those days and have had two other people who 1. Don't even try to talk to me and 2. Sit with their ear pieces and make personal calls the WHOLE time. Their is one older woman who actually talks to her people as well as I hear the pedicure people engaging, but cmon for $100 (including $30, $20 for one who put my nails on and $10 for the design girl) I think personal calls can be made in between customers just like any other job!! I know names but am not name dropping. just know it's the two at the first stations right and left when you walk in. The good ones are 3rd station on left and the end on the right. I walked in and they denied my service after saying they can take me over the phone.... While 4 girls were sitting in the pedicure chairs not doing anything, and the lady screamed at me what do I want?and rolled her eyes while dragging her feet as if she didn't want to help me. I told her I spoke with her over the phone and how they accept walk ins.But she says oh sorry can't take you too busy while only 2 customers in there and no one on the appointment book. I wear my nails a certain way that no salon really likes. A like short almond shape. It's significant to me because it's the way my grandma wore her nails. Normally I end up with long almond, which is annoying but manageable. The lady here immediately told me I should have rounded nails so they don't break. My nails are basically made of pure steel. They NEVER break. I told her no, I want them short and pointed. She cut them, then proceeded to ask me what shape I wanted. I told her I wanted almond. She told me no, they're too short. She is going to round them. And that was that. They were not too short however, they were perfect length for how I wanted them. I think it's extremely disrespectful to tell someone they CANT have what they want when they're paying you. Also, my nails look awful. Will not go back ever again. read more

It is completely unsanitary. I only noticed it far too late that they were using the same tools on everyone - nail cutters, cuticle removers, etc. I hoped that I would not get an infection but 2 days later, my 2nd toe is throbbing. read more

I was looking for a last minute place to get my nails done and I called this place second because my first choice didn't answer their phone...twice. I called to make sure they took walk ins and to ask how much their gel mani's were. $30! That's a great deal especially because after I was done, my total was $30! No hidden charges lol. That might sound strange but if you've ever gone to a new nail salon they always try to overcharge. Emily did my nails and they were perfect. She just got a regular customer ! She's very sweet and careful which I appreciate. The place in general is nice, nothing fancy but it's clean. The utensils looked like I could eat with them honestly. This place was great. I made an appointment the day before and they took me right on time....even though there were people waiting. My nail artist was very good and sweet. I had my toes and nails done. My only complaint was the place could use a good cleaning and my chair had some issues. The price was really reasonable and the service was great. Their pedicures are very affordable as well, and include the same standard treatments as any other salon. The staff is very friendly and always chatting with each other and their clients, making for a warm, pleasant vibe. Got a gel mani/pedi. I've gotten gel manicures at other salons and they've lasted weeks. My manicure is already chipping after 3-4 days from this sorry excuse for a salon. Also, saw them mixing similar nail polish colors (for example, all of the orange polishes which were similar but not the same) with each other and with some sort of sotlution...don't know if it was to cut more corners than they already have or what but it was freaky. In addition, they lied about the price beforehand and then upcharged me by about $7 (but only after speaking to each other in hushed tones/not in English before they settled on the "price" they would charge me). On top of it all, as if it couldn't possibly get worse, a customer (MAJOR Karen) was complaining about the Black Lives Matter movement and the workers were agreeing, yikes. I'm proud to say they'll never get my money again. read more

I paid $60 already 2 naildy broke in half 4 nails popping off. 2 days after I got them done one sit in half for no reason i went in all she did was pup another coat on n it cracked in half again. This place was great! My sister made an appointment for us a few days before my wedding. It was quite busy, but everything seemed to be running efficiently. I got a pedi, and a set of acrylics. I brought my own polish and sparkly top coat, which was no problem at all. Here's what sells me on this place, the service. The techs were talking to their customers, and kept the side conversations with each other to a minimum. Also, there was a manager (?) there who greeted every person coming in with a smile. If you're a regular, my sister said they will let you bring your own tools in and they store them for you in your own box. This would be great as I'm paranoid about nail infections and always spend a few days after a pedi scrutinizing and obsessing over my toes. I saw the other rave review and was excited to go. I left very "meh" about the place. I just didn't get a great pedi. It looked ok and my guy was nice. But the nails weren't expertly cut so the pedi didn't last as long as a typical well-done one does. It sucks when your from out of town visiting family and you come get your nails done and have such a terrible experience. The lady I had did a terrible job, she didn't talk to me the entire time and was completely rude. I ended up shaping them and doing my nails almost myself. That's not even the bad part as I was waiting for my family to finish she was talking about me to another costumer!!! Came here for the first time for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. They ended up giving me two different pinks on my fingers and toes. The gel manicure is horrible, clumpy, and uneven. Would not recommend and definitely will not be back. read more

I wish this came a scoring where you can add a comment like " sometimes". I have been a dedicated customer for over 5 years. But I must admit that sadly I can no longer do business there. It seems that although they remodeled, their quality of work has decreased. However the prices were raised. Appointments aren't kept, you may get a technician that is eating lunch or watching something on their laptop/phone while servicing you. Or in my case you get the owners husband butchering your cuticles until they bleed. I'm not one to usually throw a business under the bus from one bad visit, but this has been the case pretty regularly which is why I've started trying new places. For those technicians who I've connected with, you're awesome. If any one has any recommendations on new places, please let me know. read more

I hate to say avoid this place but their practices are not sanitary. The dip gel is done by actually inserting your nail into the entire jar. Just got my dips removed at another salon and there was fungus growing up under 3 of my nails. I have never had a problem with this before in my life. Their removal process at Perfect Nails is rough, they definitely grind way too far down, instead of letting them soak longer in the acetone, which has left my natural thin and now brittle a result, I would never come back. Seriously though on the fungus, do not risk this at a salon that would rather save product than be sanitary. read more

I go to this place to have a fill almost every other week. I've tried a ton of the places in the Mt. Lebo/Bridgeville and even McMurray areas. I lot of the others look nicer and are more expensive, but I keep going back to Perfect Nails because they do the best job. Note that while they take CCs, they won't let you tip on them. Went into get a manicure on 7/5/14 The woman that did my nails never spoke one word to me during the entire process. I had gel nails done and the woman didn't even know which bottles to get ready to do it, the other girl had to explain which one do use first??? At this point I should have asked for someone else, but didn't want to cause a problem. If you have a license the do nails, shouldn't you know which bottles to use??? Obviously this woman didn't have a license.....SCARY!! I went home and looked at my nails which were awful. I immediately called and spoke with a gentleman and told him what was wrong. He said no problem just come back in and they will fix them, that the girl was a fill in. the following Tuesday I stopped by to let them see the nails and said I would have to make an appointment when I could get off work. I called on Tuesday 7/15 and scheduled an appointment for Wednesday 7/16. When I arrived for my appointment I asked the girl (that had to show the other woman what to do), how much extra for a French and she stated it would cost $25.00!!!! I told her that this was a redo and she said because I didn't come back within 7 days I would have to pay for it. The gentleman NEVER, EVER said anything about 7 days. I informed them at the salon that this was very unprofessional of them which they didn't seemed too concerned. I normally don't write reviews, but I feel I didn't have any choice because they refuse to make things right. All the reviews I have read sound like its a nice place, would have thought they would have corrected the problem without any argument. Be careful who does your nails.
