Jim and his guys who have done work at our house- Mike and Kyle- were both times very professional, timely, laid back, genuine and looking to save you cost in your home. I've recommended them to family and friends, and I also am not one to do reviews but thought these guys were that great. Below are a few photos on some updates they did, with the before pic first. They also did another bathroom for a Bluetooth speaker/exhaust fan- such a wonderful upgrade. We will continue to use them moving forward.

He fit me in that day (he'd had another job that didn't take as long as the homeowner projected). I had most of the outlets, switches, etc changed out to match the new paint colors in my home, and he also replaced 4 indoor and 3 outdoor lights - in 4-1/2 hours. He and his assistant were friendly and very professional, and when I got home that night I was very happy with the results. The owner loaned to me a space heater until the job was complete. I only have one request from the company to use drop cloths as not to make a mess on their future projects. "No job is too small" for a reason... For a $250 diagnostic fee just to show up, they must be…read morecashing in.... They get a star for being responsive and answering the phone, which some electricians simply don't do. Beyond that, they sent over what I guess was an apprentice and another guy who didn't say much. I called twice, including the day of asking if I needed to go out and buy a plug. They said no both times. They guys came over with no equipment despite me emailing a direct picture of what was needed, and unwilling to drive 3 minutes to lowes to get it. We got charged and they left. After an email complaint they offered to send them back to change a plug without another $250 fee. Since we planned on having them actually do the job, while they were out here we asked for another small job or two (including simply changing an outside floodlight). Here comes more diagnostic fees for their "expertise"... Overall there are more experienced places out there by far, and many that will charge far far less. If you are in a pinch and need to reach someone, "no job is too small" here....

He left the radiator disconnected and even left one of his tools behind so I was sure he'd return. He never came back, and never called back, even after I called him several times and left polite messages over the course of the next week. I even let him off the hook, like "hey, no problem if you don't know how to fix this one, but can you tell me what you did so I can tell someone else?" No response. Ghosted me. Bill was a nice guy, and he did succeed in stopping the leak, in the sense that he disconnected the radiator. But I still have this problem unfixed and it's getting cold. I just had it looked at by someone from Richard's and they seemed baffled by how he left it. They said fixing it from how it is now will be "a project" - and said "he didn't leave you with much [pipe to reconnect]." This was not a good experience and I can't recommend Bill's services. I am disappointed since he had generally positive reviews and I didn't see this coming. (I will note, though, that someone else described a similar "ghosting" experience with him in one of the "not currently recommended" reviews. Wish I'd seen it before.)

Which I guess in one way is good because it's forced me, as a new homeowner, to learn more about how the plumbing works. But I recently had a problem that required more knowledge and tools than I had at my disposal, and I was under a time crunch to fix the problem (truth be told, what plumbing issues don't we need solved in a hurry?) and I made the dreaded call. But this time I did the wise thing and put out a call for help on Facebook, and three people recommended Bill. As they should have. He came out on a snow day, the same morning I called, was quick, and charged a nominal fee. The neighborhood loves him, apparently. I'm sold.
