Then he did have someone else take the other. Gave instructions about cake. Went to pick up cake today. The cake was wrong. He still gave attitude. Got cake home. The icing was hard. The cake is gross. It was an old cake. Very disappointed. Most employees there are now rude. They shove you out of the way when stocking a shelf you are looking at. They are in a hurry and run you over in the aisle while stocking or filling their online orders. This used to be a good store. Not anymore.

The shelves are always stocked with the normal items and I feel like they get a decent amount of the special find items, as well. The workers are helpful and friendly, and when I have to use a cashier for checkout, it's always efficient. I also love that this location opens at 830a. Some open at 9a and that half hour really makes a big difference for working folks!

The pharmacist ignored the facts, became aggressive in tone, and started to manipulate the situation, making me feel like I was in the wrong. To make matters worse, he attempted to downplay the situation by offering me a discount of $25, which seemed like a mere attempt to brush things under the rug. I suspect they initially charged my insurance company a significantly higher amount, likely $500 or more, and the pharmacist seemed more concerned about deflecting the issue than addressing it fairly. His unprofessional behavior, lack of empathy, and failure to communicate properly with me made me lose all trust in this pharmacy. This experience was not only disrespectful but also raised serious concerns about the lack of understanding of basic procedures, including HIPAA regulations. I strongly feel that this pharmacist's actions were inappropriate and unprofessional, and I would recommend avoiding Giant Eagle Pharmacy in the future. The treatment I received was unacceptable, and I will never trust them with my healthcare needs again. Today I was cleaning up my drafts and I decided that this one deserved to see publication. So, flashback: I bought a few packs of nuts never thinking that they would not be gluten-free. When I went to return them I realized I had no receipt-- but I did have them in a bag and I used a card and I scanned rewards etc. The cashier insisted that she would not take them back because I "probably just stole" them. I was on a DoorDash pickup so I tossed the bag on the counter and said "just keep them." She complained about me and I was deactivated. That same employee ended up harassing me at a restaurant. "See !$&@!, I hurt you." She said to us as David and I sat at First Watch. I stared at her before I said "Thank You." The amazing thing is that I had only great things to say about this location. What changed? I dyed my hair green and was suddenly no longer "okay." I never went back.
