Been going here everyone week looking for low carb bread, still haven't gotten then in stock yet. I love this place, it's always stocked and everything are fresh. The prices and AMAZING!!!! You read that right amazing.... one thing the staff are really nice, the only problem is we gotta pay for bags or else you walk with your own bags. You'll actually see your money's worth, when you leave the store.

I went through the self check out line as per usual and scanned/bagged my items. I selected bananas on the produce list and weighed them then placed them in my a bag. The not so friendly employee (see photo) then came over and said "the bananas are organic" - cool no problem. I am an honest person and spend hundreds of hard working dollars in cash weekly on food as I am a chef. With that said, she was cold and made it seem as if I were trying to scam the system as opposed to being a helpful employee. When I needed to remove items and pressed the help button, she responds did you need to remove something? Duh. Then proceeds to stand at a register from afar asking what needed to be removed? Pardon me but I would be shocked if her training told her to act in such a manner. I responded "since you're watching me so hard, I figure this will give you something to do" - to which she responded "baby I'm watching everybody, that's my job". I informed her that I am a customer and not her baby. That remark was not only disrespectful but degrading. Please retrain this woman as she is a disgrace to the business. I will not be returning to this location.

I absolutely LOVE this store! Whoever came up with this amazing idea is a genius and I'm grateful for Aldi's. This supermarket enables me to keep more money in my wallet and my belly satisfied. This store offers lots of food and non-food items at reasonable prices. Let me just say that just because the food is much more affordable than other stores, you still get quality and quantity with your purchases. Where else can you find almond milk for $1.99.....probably no where but at Aldi's. Lactose-free milk costs about $5.00 at other supermarkets but at Aldi's, it is only $2.89. There are food choices to appease all appetites. I look how the appearance and decor is always appealing to the eye. It is very clean and organized in Aldi's. The shelves are well-stocked and if it isn't, there is a store associate re-stocking the shelves with more items. The store associates are helpful and friendly and very accommodating to the customers. I've asked plenty of questions several times and have been met with exceptional service and a smile. Aldi's is the best supermarket to me next to ShopRite. If you are on a budget, shop here. If you aren't on a budget, still shop here. Whatever your situation is, get over to Aldi's and shop, shop, shop. You will not regret it, trust me! They also offer contactless payment options such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.

Great prices period. The weekly Aldi finds are my favorite because you'll never what you find. Come early because this store gets busy quickly.

Got a fun MadLib book on sale at Aldi!

I've been shopping at Aldi for many, many years. This store does it right...it's the big, name-brand store in Germany. It's sooo nice to have one in the area...just a 15 minute drive from Woodhaven, Queens. Went to this location for the first time tonight. Not too crowded, clean, and the selection was awesome! Lots of gluten free and organic options. Almond milk, coconut milk, masala sauce, black bean burgers, granola, wow! I stocked up! I got four, big boxes of groceries for less than $150. I'm a happy customer!! This is the place! Can't wait to go back. Bring yourself a quarter to rent your cart, some shopping bags (or use their boxes), and an open mind...you never know what you're gonna find!

It is clean and wide aisles when browsing. I came here specifically for fresh fruits and tomatoes due to the very reasonable price and quantity without economic shrinkflation or compromise. Inflation and agflation 2023 era shrinkage greatly affects my household as working families. This grocery store does offers limited pots, pans and cooking utensils but do NOT expect to be high quality pots for avid cooks/ chefs as Williams Sonoma, Sur La Table, or Calphalon standard quality. There are also mainstream American frozen foods, juice, soda of standard American brand names available. Customer service is, indeed, nonexistent and albeit dismissive, curt, mired in disgruntled melancholy behavioral appearance exhibited and transparent to customers. Return policy is absolutely deplorable egregiously inferior and excessively poor standards of a traditional brick and mortar business. I agree with previous Yelpers with the excessively poor female cashiers' customer service and stolid dismissive behaviors. They do, indeed, exhibit rude scowl belligerent looks to customers as serial thieves. Personally, I like to explore, wanderer freely and openly, plus read products throughout the entire store aisles to see if any item possibly attracts my attention for potential purchase(s). This business is located in South Richmond Hill, Queens serving Little Guyana and is very accessible by MTA subway A train Lefferts Boulevard, buses Q8 and Q112.

The shop is steady busy with takeout orders and the occasional folks (like me) who wanted to sit and enjoy my first doubles there. They only have two tables and chairs. Most people order to go. You may order at the kiosk and wait for your number to be called when it is ready to pick up. The kiosk is good because it easily shows all the sauces you may add to your doubles and the variety of other things like drinks, etc you may order. There is also the option to get in line and place your oder. You can watch the assembly line of workers quickly making food. Then check out with the cashier. They sell lots of different cakes, breads, nuts, and drinks too. I was a little overwhelmed on what to order, but a nice employee helped me out. I showed him what I was trying to order and asked for suggestions. Thanks to him I had the best doubles! Added tamarind sauce, mango chutney, and the benny sauce. The perfect vegetarian meal for $2.50! It is made of roti (flatbread), curried chickpeas, and topped with the sauces. Then rolled up to make a sandwich. So flavorful! I wasn't too sure which drink to get as I wasn't sure what they all tasted like. Chose the Seamoss drink, which is a mix of milk, seams, nutmeg, and some spices. Milky and not overly sweet. This was good. Maybe next time I'll get sorrel, which is hibiscus. They said the peanut drink is good too. Ordered Pholourie with tamarind sauce. These are fried savory dough balls. I couldn't resist getting a sweet treat. So, I randomly picked the salara bread, which looks like a cinnamon swirl bread slice. It is actually stuffed with shredded coconut that is colored red and tastes like cherry. Pretty good and not overly sweet. Definitely add this place to your list of eats in Queens. It is a trek from the city, but so good! Also, nice that it is a little bit away from the loud busy part of Liberty Ave in Richmond Hill. This is about a 15-20 min walk from there on Lefferts Blvd. Restroom available.
