I absolutely love shopping at Aldi in Goose Creek. I first started coming here in 2025 mainly for the produce section and to escape the "egg price war" I was running into at other supermarkets. Over time, we began bringing home more and more of our groceries from here. At first, we were a little apprehensive since some products are sourced internationally and the flavors can differ slightly from what we were used to. However, we quickly grew to appreciate the quality and unique taste of many of the items. The produce is consistently the freshest in Goose Creek, and the organic meats are excellent. We especially enjoy the eggs, milk, butter, coffee creamers, gourmet cookies, and sliced cakes. The savings have been significant for our household. We used to spend around $800 a month on groceries for the 2 of us... and now we average between $350-$400 -- without sacrificing quality. The employees are polite, efficient, and almost always smiling. Sundays after church can feel a bit chaotic, but for the most part, the store is orderly and clean. The only consistently busy area is the seasonal aisle (Aisle 3 -- the famous "Aldi Finds" section), where everyone is searching for special deals. It looks like a tornado went through it. Lol. There were a few frozen meals we tried that didn't quite match the flavor of their American counterparts, but overall the quality of ingredients feels cleaner and less processed. The parking lot is usually full -- a testament to how popular this location is. It's well-lit, conveniently located off St. James Avenue and just a few blocks from Highway 52, and always buzzing with people coming and going. Overall, Aldi has become our go-to grocery store. This is my go to grocery store! Everything is always clean and in stock and the staff are so nice! I do wish they would add self checkout to this location, but usually if someone only has 1 or 2 things, everyone lets them skip to the front of the checkout line. read more

I love Aldi! It's always nice and clean while the customer service is hard to beat! The friendly workers keep the line moving even when it gets crazy. I love the prices and the selection. I buy all of my produce and meat at Aldi. Even with the few things that I was a hardcore name brander, Aldi has won me over with their store brands. I now buy their store brand toilet paper, ketchup, peanut butter, creamer and almond milk! read more

Monae was our cashier and that was about the rudest/worst experience I had ever had at Aldi. I have shopped at this and other Aldi locations in the area for the last 4-5 years and will gladly not come back to this exact location. We shopped with boxes and set the boxes on the conveyer belt to unload them and as soon as we did we got yelled at to take the stuff out which we were already doing. We never even got looked at and she never said hi. She started scanning and was throwing our food in the cart hard and with no care. Threw our protein shakes that are heavy on top of everything else in the cart. Before she even scanned the first item she mumbled if we were paying cash or card. I said card and she was telling me I needed to pay for it before she even gave me a total amount. When it was time to leave she yanked the cart away and we had to carry the boxes like we always do but she was so rude and said with so much sass "leave the cart". I know to leave the cart but she was so rude and I have never left a review like this but that was insane and I hope no one else has to deal with Monae because they will not leave happy. read more

This is my go to Aldi's! I've been to the one in downtown Summerville by Azalea Square and the one located in North Charleston but this Aldi's doesn't compare. I will say, come early to get the best/freshest products! I love their produce section. It's usually fresh and the best part is that it doesn't go bad right away. You definitely can't beat the prices either! The workers here are so helpful when finding specific products and the cashiers are always nice. This location is relatively big compared to the other Aldi's and in general, I love their layout. It makes it much easier to find things. read more

This review is for the location in Goose Creek SC. They had a recent issue with their refrigeration/frozen foods equipment that resulted in them having to shut down all those units and throw out a huge amount of spoiled foods. But this was their fault! so why pass that along to your customers by increasing prices on most of your products !!! I used to like Aldi's as my go-to grocery store but lately, I'm finding I prefer Lidl - they offer more choices for products, better produce and better prices; and for sure now after this price increase, Lidl is my new go-to grocery store! read more

I had a horrible experience with a cashier named Ieisha R. who was ridiculously rude to me, very pushy, and even swore under her breath as I walked away from the incident. The worst part is I had my four year and eight year old daughters with me, whom both heard her. I reported this to the Assistant Manager on duty and the Store Manager, then contacted corporate. I was offered a small gift card(which I did not request nor was it warranted)and then I was treated as though I was the issue not the employee's behavior. I was basically accused of creating the situation(s) that was pushed upon me by the employee. Considering I was given a gift card I went back to the store used the card a manager took care of me and things were allegedly fine. I went back a week or so later to pick up a few things and Ieisha was there again. I was yet again treated with disdain by her and humiliated publicly in front of other shoppers. I reported this to the DM she referred me to her superior and neither one of them did anything for me. Both of them took the stance that despite their employee's behavior I was at fault. I do not remember their names, but the DM's contact is 980-305-2534 and her superior's contact is 980-305-5237. The DM's boss was supposed to contact me back, and has yet to do so. I sent a detailed business email in regards to these incidents, requested a contact back, and no one has done so. I have waited almost a week and finally gave up and decided I would never shop at another Aldi even though I have been shopping there almost exclusively for 5+ years.
