The renovation really did not change the stores configuration, but it cleaned it up quite a bit. Now the problem is not the store physically, but the way the store is being handled. Shelves are sparsely stocked and certain items they used to sell are not to be found. One day you'll find water is an abundance the very next day they are out of water and this happens with many items. For example, they used to sell blue cheese wedges. Now they don't even sell blue cheese wedges at all. This is one small item, but I can go on hot cherry peppers are not to be found. Only the crushed. Certain brands and items are no longer sold. They are out of many items they do sell when you go looking for them. The one thing they still do have is fresh meat, of course one day they will have a variety and the next day they will not. This store can be a four or five star store If it was run properly. It is a shame that they cannot seem to keep up with other food Lions in the area when it comes to stock. Their customer service is very good and the people working, there are pleasant. I will still go there for bread and milk, but it's very difficult to do your weekly shopping there and to come home with what you're looking for. this is definitely a management problem, and the problem can easily be resolved by proper ordering and stocking. I will continue giving this Food Lion two stars, one for a friendly workforce, and one for the meat and Butcher department. However, this Food Lion is not the Food Lion to go to for a special occasion, or you will almost undoubtedly have to go to another store for specific items that this Food Lion will not have on the shelf.

I only needed to run in for some protein powder, so I stayed mainly around the pharmacy area. The store was clean, organized, and it looked like it had recently undergone a remodel or at least a partial remodel\. It looked very nice. Even though there were plenty of cars in the parking lot, the checkout area was surprisingly calm and there were no long lines. I used self checkout and accidentally scanned an item twice. The associate working the area noticed immediately, came over, removed the duplicate item, and had me on my way within seconds\. She was very helpful and attentive. Overall, this was a really good visit and definitely better than I expected. I may actually start shopping here again probably early Saturday mornings or Sunday mornings when it is hopefully a little quieter. Very pleasantly surprised with this visit!
