Just another standard Aldi shop. This one however has to be the biggest one I've been too. If you're looking for an inexpensive grocery bill, Aldi is your best option. You'll find practically everything you may need, for less. I generally come to Aldi and stock up on a week's worth of veggies and fruits, and some good cuts of steak. We were in the neighborhood so we decided to stop by. It's pretty much as all Aldi stores are -- self serve and not all the brands or items you might want. My husband is on a "mission" to find a certain item he'd purchased before at our local Aldi, but they no longer carry it. He was hoping that this one might have some older stock and still have it on their shelves. Unfortunately, no. And that's why Aldi can sometimes be so frustrating. Find something once and you might never see it again. And I'm not talking about their Aldi "finds" either. We did walk around the store anyway to see what specials they had. Nothing jumped out at us. On a quest to find a Seasonal White chocolate Passion Fruit bar that I had purchased at other locations. Apparently my target bar has been replaced by fall seasonal product. This was the fifth location in two counties I have searched. While not finding what I wanted, this store is clean and well stocked with all types of groceries and produce. read more

First time I've ever been to an Aldi's and they didn't let you take the cart to go bag the groceries on the side... The cashier had one cart and just kept putting everyone's things inside of it and you had to stand there and bag it from the cart, while other people are checking out and mixing their groceries with yours. I usually only get one bag, and every other Aldi's cashier has been nice enough to put it right in the bag for you so you can get out of there more quickly. This employee was just not having it. And there were only three of us in the store checking out so it was not like it was incredibly crowded. I would have done a self-checkout as it is usually more convenient, but the store did not have any. Really put a bad taste in my mouth. Store was not good or bad in any other way, the selection was the same as the other Aldis within a 3 mile radius. So, I will not be back to this one. I'm sure they don't but I would look into getting more helpful cashiers. read more

You can get fried or baked potato chips, you can get them in bags or cans, you can get generic tortilla or potato chips for a fraction of what you would pay retail. Their prices have gone up in the past 2 years, but if you know your unit price, you can still find out the ones that are a deal and grab them !!! read more

Brand spanking new Aldi in Coral Springs. Located on Wiles rd off of University dr. It's spacious, clean and organized! I have been here a few times now and it's still a very clutter free store, unlike other Aldi I have been to. My top items to get from Aldi are produce and dairy. Amazing prices on both. Service is super fast (can't keep up with these cashiers) Plenty of parking. This plaza is full of great stores (to me) Only drawback is the construction ALWAYS going on, on Wiles rd. Makes getting in/or out the lot harder Overall, great place to shop! read more

Think of Aldi's as the estranged brother of Trader Joe's. The abbreviated history is that Aldi's and Trader Joe's were owned by German brother's who fell out over whether or not to sell cigarettes. One headed the chain that became Aldi's and the other chain became Trader Joe's. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries, Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Lines will most likely be long because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum. Best of all is the check out. To get people through the line more quickly they will literally throw your groceries into the cart they keep chained at the check out. You will frantically try to grab your items out but will never be fast enough. I used to just carry groceries around the store in bags I brought but getting my own cart has made the checkout process a lot smoother so now I always keep a quarter hanging in an Aldi's keychain made for that purpose attached to my purse. I have noticed that a lot of stores are leaving carts where the quarter slot is locked in the parking lot for shoppers but not at this store. The more I shop at Aldi's the more I save and now I have become a regular shopper. Thanks Rachel M. for turning me on to the Aldi Nerd Community Groupon Facebook which gives me tons of great ideas. I end up stopping an Aldi's at least once a week wherever I end up. This week it happened to be at a brand new store in Coral springs on Wiles Road where the Lucky's used to be. I love a brand spanking new Aldi's and now I see them popping up everywhere. My favorite section of the store besides the fresh fruit and vegetables is the freezer case where I can pick up inexpensive prepared foods that makes dinner a snap during the busy week. This store has a huge freezer section with even more cases than I have ever seen at other stores and I have been to a lot, LOL I found my beloved apple strudel that has been MIA since Oktoberfest. That this the one problem with Aldi's., you fall in love with a product and they stop carrying it so stock up. Other great finds included an ergonomic laptop stand, Wicked Grove elderflower hard cider, Olive Garden salad dressing, and the pork schnitzel. The new lighting, especially in the wine case looks great. Everything is so nice and new. If you like to save money, come check out the latest and greatest Aldi's. read more

The only reason I give 3 stars is because the store is immaculate and I love their variety. All of the frontline employees are rude. Aaliyah always has a smart comment to utter as I'm checking out... not sure if it's because I have more than one child.... She made me take out groceries from boxes while I was holding my child and was annoyed I didn't include a divider for the person behind me... If you're unhappy with your job, quit, don't be rude. I am always smiling, polite, and nice. I don't need anyone to be extra with me. There was also an employee blonde with her hair up stocking who was incredibly rude to my mother... I have worked in customer service for over 10 years. You have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. read more

I grew up with Aldi and it's concept. Changed my grocery store and have been shopping here weekly since it opened. After today, I won't be. Within the past 2 weeks, my husband and I bought asparagus on two separate occasions. Each time, within a day, it went bad. 10 minutes ago today, I left the store. After unpacking my groceries, I noticed both my bread and sandwich wraps had mold growing on them! I returned to the store to return the items. The manager had to conduct the return for the cashier. No acknowledgement nor apology from the manager (nor cashier) about the store selling moldy products. Manager didn't even say a word to me. Super rude. Bummer. I'll go back to shopping at Fresh Market. read more

it is like shopping in Europe. Yes, you bring your own bags and yes, if you want a cart, you put a coin in it, which you get back when you return your cart. I , love the German roasted coffee, and I do like their swirled rye and pumpernickel bread. Finally a bread that does not have added sugar in it. Their organic sprouted bread is also very good. Lots of organic products. I always have their applesauce on hand. I am glad that they are finally in Coral Springs. read more

Love this store. The folks that work there could not be nicer and more helpful. I'm disabled, and when the Manager sees me coming with my cane he personally grabs the golf cart and comes running outside to meet me before I collapse (I have). Then I usually spend around $250 so I fill inevitably the cart to overflowing. When he sees me coming he opens a new lane for me, else I keep letting other customers with far fewer items, in front of me. What shopping experience could be better than this? This is the reason why I only frequent other groceries for items that they don't carry - exemplary customer service. read more

i can never understand how some people can be employed anywhere when their attitude just plain sucks. When you work at a store such as this, your customers are supposed to have a good experience, and this guy that rang us up was a piece of work. He literally took our groceries and dumped them inside a cart, rang us up, used "nope" when my partner asked him a question. Called me "bro" when communicating with me. I did not understand that the cart was not meant for me to take with me to the car (it was my first time at Aldi's and the last), so when I started taking the cart with me, rather than courteously explain to me the process, he forcefully grabbed the cart and pulled it away from me like a giant asshole and didn't even acknowledge me when I told him that "you're supposed to explain things to your customers when they don't seem to understand, because not everyone is a regular customer". Just overall dissapointed with the customer service. People like this give places of business a bad name. Never again. Get rid of that POS! read more

Heard about this store and had been meaning to visit. Went in to buy some water and took the heavy 12 pack and carried it to the cashier and placed it on the belt. "This lane closed" he said. We carried the water off and got in the only long line of 7 people. Seconds later, the cashier walked over and intentionally told the people in front of us to come over to his lane. When we said "are you kidding me?" The cashier said in a snarky tone "nope". With rudeness like that, I would never shop there again. read more
