a shopping cart in a grocery store
    Jorge R.

Yes yes yes. So glad there's an Aldi nearby. This slashed our bill and our stress compared to other supermarkets. Sure it's a little smaller, and the quarter game you have to play to get your cart can be a little unexpected, but it is so worth it! We find 95% of what we need here, sometimes 100%, at way lower prices. There's also way less people, hence less stress. Some of my favorite food to pick up here include their delicious Brioche buns, Pork Coppa Steaks, Chicken Breast, peanut butter, eggs, milk (almond and regular) protein powder (it's great) and all kinds of odds and ends. Parking is fine at the Doral location. Service is good. They recently added self checkout which was a little awkward but still not bad. Also recommend you bring some bags in your car to help offload them at home.

This brand new Aldi opened in the heart of Doral just one month ago. Located just steps away from the Landmark condos, it's quite hidden and not easily seen from the street. This Aldi is very attractive compared to some others that I've seen. It looks modern and updated and the aisles are spacious. First thing that comes to mind about Aldi are super low prices. Some items that stood out to me were the $0.39 avocados and the super cheap wines priced below $10 and even below $5. Aldi is the one place that you need to remember to bring a quarter in order to use their shopping carts and then return it to get your $0.25 back. I don't mind paying it, but I'm also thinking, "what if I don't have a quarter?" It's also a good idea to bring your own empty shopping bags. Otherwise, paper bags cost 7 cents and plastic bags cost 10 cents. That, I don't mind paying either. One thing I'd like to see from Aldi are more unique and intriguing items that I absolutely can't pass up. Oh, and use better ingredients too. I'm thinking more of a Trader Joes type of selection. That's all.

The grand opening of ALDI in Doral was today--woohoo! So happy to see a location in my neighborhood. This store is a bit hidden, in a small plaza right by a bunch of condos, there is however lots of parking. The store isn't that big inside, it's one of their small locations, but they do have all of the essentials. The architecture is modern, with a nice clean look. The produce was super fresh and all the shelves were kept fully stocked by staff, as everyone was shopping. I like the assortment of steaks and other meats. Very good quality and value. There's a few lines to check out at. The cashiers were very friendly and quick. Don't forget to bring a quarter for the cart!

Brand new and hectic. Product has a high turnover rate, so if you like something quickly go back and buy in bulk. Make sure you bring your own bags. Plenty of parking.

Unsanitary Conditions in a Aldi Grocery Store. Maintanace doesn't care. Employees are understaff. No maintenance crew available during business hours.

Random men loitering in front of Aldi

I like to shop at Aldi, but I don't like being harassed by people who sit in the parking lot. Beware of the people that sit in the parking lot at Aldi. About 2 weeks ago, I witnessed the lady with the hat crash a cart into a parked SUV because she was so desperate to get the quarter from the cart. Aldi management is allowing these people to sit in the parking lot all day and try to get money from the quarters in the carts. One man got upset at me because I told him to stop following me.

While the prices may be good at times, the quality of the produce is generally poor. The service and cleanliness of the store is atrocious.

We all got multiple items and were satisfied with the food. However the service was a bit off since it was hard to communicate in English which led to some mistakes in the drink orders and the drinks also took a while to be finished. But there was plenty of seating outside and it looked overall clean!

Classic Miami flavor and still the best place for pork and lechón…read more Back when I lived in Miami, there were only two El Palacio de los Jugos locations. Now they've expanded and while this was my first time at the Flagami spot, it didn't matter one bit. The same delicious food, the same friendly, fast service, and that unmistakable Miami vibe were all still there. I came for what I've always loved: the fried pork chunks (nobody does them better) and the lechón, both full of local flavor and perfectly prepared. Though they offer pastries too, I opted to swing by a bakery separately but it's great to have that variety available in one place. I was in and out very quickly, which is always appreciated when you're just trying to grab something good. The staff behind the counter were just as nice and efficient as I remembered from years ago. If you're in town and craving authentic, hearty Miami eats from meats to juices to fresh fruits this is definitely the place. The only hard part? Choosing just one or two things from their incredible variety.

I am really impressed with Milam's Market…read more I went last night for the first time. I was hoping to find some banana chocolate chunk bread from Susilicious, a vendor I recently was made aware of at the Mango Festival that Fairchild Tropical Gardens holds. Turns out that while Milam's carries her goodies, they had no bread. I spoke to who I believe was the manager and he was very kind and found out they don't usually get bread. Just cookies and meringuitos. I ended up buying some cookies. I'm sure they're delicious. I will have to keep hunting for some more bread from Susilicious. I am happy, however, that her brand brought me to Milam's. While there's no way I would shop there on the regular (too far and too expensive for me), the customer service is exemplary and the selection for wine, cheese, and bread are stars. I found rows upon rows of wine. Felt as if I were in a mini wine store. Not to mention all the breads, including Brazilian cheese bread and even prebaked French baguettes. I think the only thing I didn't see was Indian naan, and even, I wonder if I simply missed it. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian meals. Freshly made salads, sushi, and deli products. Oh, and individual Panera Bread soups that I've only ever seen in bulk at BJs and Costco. But the best part? A ridiculous amount of sauces, including arrabbiata.
